Sigh. I'm saying I don't see there is the market for it. Plopsaland is a family park, Mega-Lites are slighty out of the realm of family in my opinion. Plospaland will know this too. I got the distinct impression visiting Plopsaland last year that it wasn't the sort of place that would ever benifit from a Mega-Lite. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE them to get one, but they won't._koppen said:I don't say they will, but they could probably benefit from it, just like with Anubis.

I don't know much about Djurs unfortunately, but if it's a family park then maybe it could like. Like I said, I really really want to eat my words, but I'm fairly sure I won't have to.nadroJ said:^To be fair Hix, look at Djurs Sommerland. Piraten was pretty much the ONLY big coaster there, everything else was just a Danish Paultons Park. I'd say Djurs has a similar target audience to Plopsaland, and Piraten is incredibly popular.
And who knows, they may even want to expand their target audience to include a bit more thrill seekery stuff.
Megalite probably isn't going to happen still though.
But what's the increase in attendance for ANY major new ride opening? I bet that whole indoor place had a similar (or higher) impact of the figures when it opened._koppen said:As I said the attendance rose with 18% when Anubis opened, if that does not show that there is a market for these kinds of rides at this park, then I don't know what!
I feel coaster wise, something like this is far more likely. Possibly even one of those Mack coasters that seem to be popping up. It's the happy medium between Mega-Lite and family ride I think._koppen said:Gerstlauer, Vekoma and Zierer has also been rumored to be under consideration for the park's next coaster.
Plopsaland De Panne (Belgium) unveils today first details about a new Vicky the Viking themed area to open in 2013. It will feature a Antonio Zamperla Spa Disk'O Coaster as well as a Splash Battle water ride. Investment announced is €6 million / $8 million.

Well I may well stand corrected then. I'm not taking opinion as fact (so far we've only been tossing around thoughts), but if there's word from the CEO about it then that's a bit different. Like I said, we can hope...peep said:Hixee, you should know that a Mega-Lite is actually a pretty reasonable rumour considering that for the past few years the actual CEO has said that a coaster for thrill seekers (Anubis target market - teenagers) is on the way, just looks like they've pushed their plans back a bit.
