Just like the rest of this park....it's going to look amazing!! If it's as quirky as their rapids, then it will be a surefire hit with guests!

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

It looks like Chiapas is definitely an Intamin contraption:

Some other pics of the construction:

This looks like one of the turntables for the backwards section!

There's a bit of debate about whether these are water pumps or for air circulation on the Phantasialand forum these are from!

This is of course not mentioning the main "lake" area at the bottom that they haven't started yet!

Frankly, I can't wait. :D

The water system for one of the upper floors has now been installed

Apparently work on the indoor sections has started but I have no idea how they can tell

They're almost certainly for air circulation. They're not the right design, or size, to be water pumps.

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

This thing makes zero sense whatsoever. I still have no idea what I am looking at.

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

Does it matter? Phantasialand is a top notch park - and I'm thinking that this ride will be the sleeper hit of 2013.

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

I don't think anyone is saying it in a bad way. As far as I can understand, everyone's just so confused by how complex and awesome this thing looks.

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

^That.

There is typically a general idea you can get by looking at construction pictures, not just get more and more confused each time pictures come out. Is it a water coaster or more like Shoot the Rapids at Cedar Point? The pictures I have seen just say, oh hey, massively themed water ride. I'm extremely interested in seeing what it ends up being, but I can still be confused at what is being shown.

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

I'm confused by it as well, but getting a sort of "Valhalla" vibe from it. I'm sure if you looked at Valhalla construction pictures (are there any around?) it would look equally confusing.

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

Anyone have any ideas when this might open? Might pop to Phantasialand during my Easter break but I'd rather go once this is done ^.^

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

Latest estimates on Phantasialand-fans.de is anywhere from end of May to middle of July! I hope it's June, I'm going for my first visit then and don't want to get spited!

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

I thought it all might start to make sense after new images surfaced but nope, even more confused now.

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

^ Haha, exactly my thoughts as well!

I have a feeling this will be a very solid and good quality water attraction!

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

Glad I'm not the only one to have no clue what's going on but the rendering h looked good so...

Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"

*Jaw drops to floor*

Very excited to see how much theming they add in there <3 This is honestly the most exciting 'new for 2013' attraction and it isn't even a cred.
