Is this the start towards hinting the next ride reveal? I know it's almost definitely Wave Runner but there's still some information waiting to be revealed about the ride. Images of what it will look like etc...
According to their website, Wave runner isn’t scheduled to reopen until 21st JulyWell that was fast
Seems it will open for June, hopefully they have time to do a bit more theming as so far its just a load of wood boards. But I guess they could always finish it off during the closed season.
Overall, I am so excited for this area. 2020 is very exciting for the UK in general:I thought it might be interesting to do a little summary of what we know about this new area so far.
Area name: Tornado Springs
Opening: May 2020
The red area is roughly the land available for this new area, including Wave Runner and Trekking Tractors which are expected to be re-themed into this new area (more on that later).
Tornado Springs is themed as a small mid western town on the fictional Route 83. The town was devastated by Storm Mac and much of the marketing around it has been based on the town rebuilding and the issues and events they have had since.
We have a number of twitter accounts related to Tornado Springs.

Al's Auto Academy https://twitter.com/AlsAutoAcademy
Farmer Flo https://twitter.com/Farmer_Flo1
Angus's Junkyard https://twitter.com/Junk_yardjunc
Most of these seem to be related to a different ride/attraction and are being used to tease different things about the area, and I'll come back to them as we go through what has been revealed so far.
Going back to the original reveal:
We now have a bit more information on what we can see in this poster. Let's go through what we know about each ride/attraction shown on the poster first.
Coaster: We can see in the main image and the first of the smaller images some coaster track. This is expected to be a Spinning Coaster in keeping with theme of the new area. This ride is associated to the Cooper Storms Twitter account and he has teased some pictures of the footings and some track already.
The coaster is expected to be a Mack Spinning Coaster, most likely to be a clone of Sierra Sidewinder but nothing is yet confirmed. Paulton's have trademark the name Storm Chaser. This is expected to be the name of a new Spinning Coaster.
Buffalo Falls: This is almost certainly Wave Runner re-themed. A lot of work has already been done to Wave Runner, with a timber structure going up around it. More information on this is expected next month with an announcement based on a race down the falls.
Cyclonator: A farming themed gyro swing/frisbee type flat ride associated with the Farmer Flo twitter account. Potentially inverting based on the counter weight on the concept art (below) but nothing has been confirmed.
Trekking Tractors: Nothing much to say on this yet. Due to it's location and the tractor on the initial poster it is expected to be integrated into the new area, probably also associated to Farmer Flo. This may also indicate that Cyclonator will be located at this end of the area.
Al's Garage: No real information on this yet either. Obviously associated with the Al's Auto Academy Twitter account. Possible a driving school type attraction but all speculation at the moment. It is also possible that Al's Garage will be the main gift shop in the town.
Jesse's Diner: An American style diner, not much to say on this yet. It's not clear how this new(?) diner will affect the Railroad Diner and Station Restaurant which are both very close to the new area.
Windmill Towers: Visible in the main image is a pair of drop towers revealed to be Windmill Towers. These drop towers will be themed to power generation and are associated to the Mayor Bill Twitter account.
In the main image you can also see the miniature railway that is close for this year as some of the track has been removed to make way for the development of Tornado Springs but will be returning as part of the new area.
Additionally it seems there will be a Junkyard themed play area.
So all that gives us:
Storm Chaser - A Spinning Coaster (not yet announced) possibly a Sierra Sidewinder clone.
Cyclonator - A gyro swing/frisbee
Windmill Towers - A pair of drop towers
Buffalo Falls - Wave Runner re-themed
Al's Auto Academy - Car themed ride (not yet announced)
Trekking Tractors - Re-themed (nothing properly announced)
Miniature Railway - Integrated into new area
Angus's Junkyard - Play park (no details yet)
Jesse's Diner - Themed restaurant
Also, as well as the old Flamingo and Penguin Enclosures being demolished for this, didn't this replace the Gold River Falls mini golf and panning for gold attractions. If so, then the Tornado Springs theme gives a tip to the hat to those old western themed attractionsI thought it might be interesting to do a little summary of what we know about this new area so far.

Probably a typo but just for clarity the penguins haven't moved the flamingoes and pelicans have. Also, as well as the old Flamingo and Penguin Enclosures being demolished for this, didn't this replace the Gold River Falls mini golf and panning for gold attractions. Welcome to CoasterFORCE, @NewThemeParkEnthusiast! I think you'll like it here, as most of us are supportive of Paulton's park as well - I may live on the opposite side of the pond, but I'm certainly excited for Tornado Springs.Hi I've literally just signed up to CoasterForce, and hence my name have only been a fully interested Theme Park Enthusiast for a short amount of time. Paultons has been my local theme park for many many years and it brings a tear to my eye to how far this park has come along in the UK theme park market, especially in the last 10-14 years. I can't wait to see this new area when it opens next year and to see what comes in the future from this fantastic park. For extra information I would definitely subscribe to ThemeParkWorldwide on YouTube as he has behind the scenes access by Paultons until its opening. Physical images will therefore be able to be seen and more hype can ensue for this new area!
Wouldn’t surprise me as even without the counter weight it would be the most thrilling ride in Paultons Park (currently Edge is)Apparently their Zamperla Midi Discovery won't actually invert and will be minus the larger counterweight.

What’s wrong with Theme Park Worldwide?
I don't trust his reviews are genuine, or his opinions are plain stupid, it's one of those. #bestmealeverWhat’s wrong with Theme Park Worldwide?
