Oblivion The definative stats?

After todays Excursion to AT it occured to the missus that it was being advertised that it was a 150' drop.

After some scouring it seems there's some variation and uncertainty of what are its actual stats. I always thought that it was 88.8 degree's with 180' drop.

However, depending where you look it varies, rcdb have it at 180 feet @ 87 degree's wiki has it lited on its side bar @ 180' @ 88.8 and then in the text at 150'. Then AT on the bloody awful ad sponsor banners have it at 150'.

This is now driving me mad, can someone confirm what it is?

It's not something to do with the hole is it? I can't remember how deep it is, or how much of the drop is above ground but the conflicting stats could come from that.

Although on reflection, surely there isn't 150' above the ground... so...

Nope, its about 65' above ground! Garghhhhhh! Its doin me brain in.

My thought was the 150' may just be the 88.8 dgree section without adding the drop curve and the bottom curve. Seems the most logical, but someone must know for sure.

^Nah, the 'steep' bit only lasts for a small fraction of the drop. You can see that here:

Alton towers Fanta advertising banners for one, as well Wiki's desciptive text. I'm unceratin as well why RCDB have got it as 87degree's.
