What's new

New rides @ small parks

By the looks of things, it appears to be a suspended coaster. I reckon this will end up being a Vekoma SFC, personally, considering John Broome (founder and chief executive of Alton Towers in 1980) is at the head of this development, and has ties with Vekoma, as he brought in rides such as the Corkscrew to the park.
I know they're unlikely to get something like Lech Coaster, but maybe this could lead to something like Formuła at Energylandia in the future?

It did make me wonder where Tsunami is, they took it down right?
It was still in bits at the back of their car park in May last year :)

They're investing £3m into whatever this is, so they could potentially afford one!
The article actually says they've invested £3m in the park as a whole, not this new coaster. So a crappy Pinfari is looking more likely. :(

I’m sorry for double posting, but I found some more information on this new Zierer Coaster @CrashCoaster;
https://csodalatosbalaton.hu/hirek/...asut-epul-a-kis-balatonnal-zobori-elmenypark/ (Hungarian article about the new investment)

http://www.zobori.hu/elmenyeink/hullamvasut-2019 (The park’s page for this new coaster on their website, also in Hungarian)

It’s name is (according to Google Translate) Balaton Waste Railway! Quite a unique and interesting name for a family coaster, if I may add. There’s a furry creature donning a construction hat that shows up on its official ride page, perhaps this is the park’s mascot?

Zobori Élmény Park in Hungary has apparently just opened a Zierer Force 281:-

I will try and find more info on this.
Ooh, sweet. That's only a 3 hour drive from me. I mean, that's close by Slovenian enthusiast standards, I swear.

Now, if they could only reopen that old woodie in Budapest at some point too...

EDIT: That front of the train seems a bit suggestive, huh?

IMG_4263.JPG Oddly found this spinner the more fun of the two due to it being smoother, we got a good spin and they give you three laps.

Very strong brakes on this, but a good first drop.
Good addition for a small park :)

Didn't they say they were getting the SBF break dance thing that's been at IAAPA the last two years, it uses the same cars as the coaster but is just a controlled flatride.
