New record breaker for King's Dominion 2013?

My comments on a 500 foot strata are purely wishful thinking. I hope it is a coaster or could even be some type of water ride with a record breaking drop. Surely it's a thrill ride.

^ Most airtime hills? Good luck at a Cedar Fair park.

Question, if Kings Dominion is painted into a corner and there are no plans to remove existing rides, just where the hell are they going to put a new coaster?

They own twice the land that they have developed.

yes, but considering the small murmurs that have been going around there's nothing even hinting at them expanding their developed land. If you look at a bird's eye view of the park the only place that isn't painted into a corner is the water park, everything else is blocked in some way by a coaster.

Well, that is true... BUT they could use the waterpark to connect one part of the park to said coaster.

Would you want to walk through a water park just to get to a single coaster? Or a better question, how would the General Public react to it?

Well to answer the questions:
1. YES, I would walk through it to get to the coaster.
2. GP wouldn't know where it is... shorter lines! :)

Roller Soaker is defined as a water attraction in the water park, not an independent roller coaster like what Tbondi is speculating that KD likely will not add.

We're talking about the park that has the entrance to one of it's coasters hidden through the gift shop for Dinosaurs Alive so I wouldn't put having you hike through a waterpark to get to a coaster past them.

I was just throwing around some ideas where they COULD. Not that they SHOULD or WOULD. I mean I don't think it is likely at all to get a new coaster. We got Windseeker this year, I305 2 years ago, and 2 years before that we got Dominator. Two coasters and a large thrill ride in four years = no coaster this year. (Thought a new coaster would be nice :)

^Upgrade to the 64 oz cups that they have at the truck stops in the middle of nowhere.

I think you mean downgrade ;)

But yeah I do love me some half gallon ICEEs every once in a great great while. OH OH I got it now! Most Coke Freestyle machines in an amusement park!
