New record breaker for King's Dominion 2013?

It is DEFINITELY NOT a coaster or a Drop Tower (they have 4 tower rides already so there's no need for more). Only thing I've been hearing about is aesthetic changes to the park and the revamping of a kiddie area.

Remember it doesn't have to be a thrill ride to be a record breaker (see: world's largest bounce house).

The rocket is intriguing though. Maybe a re-theme to a current ride? Not sure how it would break a record, but it's an idea.

You would think that they will have enough to do with the supposed improvements to Volcano. Can't imagine what kind of record they will be breaking.

I'm confused. They've already got a WindSeeker and a Dinosaurs Alive! so what on earth can it be?

Its either a speed up of the lift hill on I305

OR

First US Pokemon themed area (Team Rocket blasting off to space! Or whatever the line is)

Team Rocket's Blasting off again.

Also if it is pokemon related (which if it is I will eat the entire internet) it would be a HUGE draw for both the people who grew up with the games and those kids who pay it and will beg to go.

I vote for some sort of speed record. most likely for a flat ride.

I've been thinking on this some more and I just can't see the RECORD as some kiddy attraction. Most wooden coasters in a park was a feasible guess, but what records do we have to break other than height, speed, length, and inversions? The only other options I see is maybe world's tallest ZacSpin or maybe some record breaking flat ride. I think the US could deal with having one more Intamin launched Strata Coaster though. This time breaking 500 feet.

Although I wish a co9aster of that height would come to KD, I think:
1: Construction would've started by now
2: Don't you think Cedar Fair would give the 500 foot coaster to Cedar Point?

General rule: The higher you build, the more work and money you have to put into it. Increased height gives increased problems. Building a 400 foot coaster was barely worth the effort, and generally there's no reason to go to 500 feet. Too expensive, too much of a nightmare to maintain, and a smaller, cheaper ride would draw in crowds just as well for a fraction of the price.

Long story short, do not expect a 500 foot coaster any time soon.
