What's new

New Paramount Park in Murcia, Spain.

Another update. It look's pretty interesting to be honest:

Warp Speed Coaster - Could this be the name?

Also, it seems a lot of the park is made up by 4D and 3D rides. Oh well, I'm sure it will still be great. I'm looking forward to the Sleepy Hollow attraction to be honest. Also, noticed that the "Paranormal Activity Scare Attraction" hasn't been added to the list!

EDIT: It also looks as though the layout for the accelerator coaster will actually be the same layout as this thing, based on the concept drawings: http://rcdb.com/4194.htm?p=0

Double Post, but it's worth it...

Apparently, the park will be opening next year, I'm somewhat sceptical of that, but below is a LOT of visuals and concept art of the park and areas.

Overall

PASEO PARAMOUNT
The entrance area of the Park, much like "Main Street USA" type of thing.

Sleepy Hollow
My favourite ride and area so far.

Crónicas de Spiderwick (Chronicles of Spiderwick)
What's interesting is that if you look on the plans above, the finale will consist of a joint team effort between several cars to defeat the large monster. In a similar manner to Mystic Manor.

There's also a kiddy cred in the area, looking on the plans, it seems it's a Vekoma Junior Coaster.

Currently unnamed coaster [Monaña rusa]

Look on the plans above, you can see the proposed layout, it starts with a large vertical airtime hill, think the old S&S launch coasters, like Dodonpa etc. before an inverted tophat, Zero G Roll, airtime hills, corkscrew and more. It's an interesting looking coaster.

If you want to see ALL of the concept art and more information, head on over to http://blog.themeparkzone.es/2014/0...visita-paseo-virtual-3d-del-parque-paramount/. I think it looks fantastic.

^ You could say that about any of the parks being constructed at the moment though based off of the quality of concept art?

Looks like three credz according to the artwork - a mine train in Rango's West, a family coaster in the Enchanted Forest & a large steel coaster in Plaza Futura (unless I missed something). :)

Oh, aye! Looks amazing... I just think, like my friends' babies or the Edinburgh Tram System, I don't want to get too excited too early.

The concept art looks incredible. If it turns out to be anything like that it will be amazing. I particularly like the look of the Sleepy Hollow and Plaza Futura areas.

Also if this is now in full construction, I think we can hold out a little bit more hope that the Paramount park in Kent may go ahead. Completely separate projects I know, but if this park is built to this high standard and is a success it will attract potential investors to the Paramount Park brand which can only strengthen the Kent projects chances.

It seems they were awaiting a "Full planning approval" which has gone ahead now, that's what the hold up was. The developer is still adamant it can open on time, I'm somewhat sceptical of that, but, looking at the speed of development of other parks in Europe, (Rainbow Magicland being one of them), it is still possible.

When it comes to Paramount Park in Kent, people shouldn't be so pessimistic about the project, keep your options open, you may be surprised ;)

I'm actually optimistic about the Kent one going ahead. Sounds like they had a new source of funding and the government chose the new road that didn't go through the planned area. However I think the plans for the actual park look turd lol.

I hope some goons that live near start taking construction pics of the site so we can start getting really excited.
