New Coaster for Toverland.

Exactly, the ride aint suppose to open until july so they have plenty of time to build! I'm just interested how far they've come? I searched for construction photos but couldn't find any...

Regarding what type of coaster this will be, I assume it'll be a B&M. Partly because the owner in the past expressed interest in getting a B&M and partly because the old batman blueprints. But I do not think it'll be a batman clone after all! The price tag is just to low on those. Batman at Parque Warner did cost 6 million euros and the price tag couldn't possibly had doubled over the past 8 years..

I checked rcdb for some models and surprisingly found that both Sheikra and Griffon did cost less than 12 million euros to build (9,5 and 11 million euros)! Both of them are B&M and both feature a splash down (the supposed water feature). It's a wild guess but the new model at Toverland might be a B&M dive machine after all? If so, it would be great news! :--D

Let's see some construction photos now!!

yes know what you mean now.

There are no details whatsoever about the coaster.

Have you tried asking the park?

Some are saying its a water coaster of some sort, others are saying it's a Batman clone.

^ Doing a quick Google translate then:

Toverland said:
The new attraction mentioned in the media has been postponed until next year.

By the way, reading Dutch is pretty simple, at least if you know German...

That is sad news! Then there won't be a new coaster at toverland at the live in august..

To bad that it has been postponed to next year, especially since they've alreday started the groundworks.. Now they will have som ugly workinggrounds behind troy the entire season instead of building it as fast as they could. Even if it wouldn't had been finished until late fall, it still would have been better than this..

Oh this is sad news.

Oh well at least on the Euro-Live will still be able to ride Troy ang Goliath? Fingers crossed!

According to a member on TPR that works at Toverland says that the coaster will in fact be a Mack SuperSplash and will be called Odysseus...

That's disapointing to hear!

I was expecting something more thrilling and hoping for that rumoured B&M :P .

I hope they at least theme it well.

Sorry to bring this topic up, but, the TPR rumours is true, and Toverland's new coaster will be called Odysseus.

It'll be a Mack SuperSplash opening in 2012.

Now more details that I've found, but it's listed on RCDB:

Why does this make me wanna laugh :?:

Oh yeah this is just reminds me of Thorpe Park with rumours about a DM & what do we get :?: A euro fighter

Good news everyone! Toverland are getting a new attraction for 2011, it's.......wait for it.....

A pirate ship!!!! Yaaayyy =D

I can't read it, but I think it's easy enough to get the gist of. Pirate ship, called Scorpios, near to Troy. I like the fact that Toverland are keeping up the standard with their theming, and hey, we can all keep dreaming of a Mega-lite for 2013 ;]

Yeah, Jordan, that ride was new for 2010....... I went on it in the summer, it was nicely themed, not very exciting..... just saying ;)

Damn, I must've read the date wrong, oh well, I didn't know about it so I'm sure there are others who also don't, and now they do. Haha. I'm bored XD

Edit: bloody hell, they got that up fast, the confirmation was only posted to Screamscape on the 9th June, you can see why I got confused! Anyway, bravo Toverland, keep 'em comin' =]

I noticed...... :P

Lots of unexpected coaster geekery from your good self. Although, you've happily filled my quota of coaster news for the next month or so. Good effort!
