Re: New B&M Flyer that's not for the China location??
I think that tag is for something else....
Edit: Well...instead of lunching, I kind of got a list of codes figured out for the labelling system B&M uses (as this was a bitch to find).
So yeah, if you know all these, good for you....I didnt and have a general list that is probably missing some, but here it goes for those that didnt care to know or never knew:
DM - Dive Machine
IC - Invert
LC - Flyer
WI - Wing
SC - Sit-Down
SU - Stand-Up (not really known, just an educated guess)
FL - Floorless
HC - Hyper
Wonder if China simply just changed their minds for the color scheme, and it is for Xishuangbanna park. But it seems way too early for a flyer to be built for 2015, and way too late to open for the beginning of the 2014 season, so I really wanna know who the heck is installing it.
^ You can pretty much forget about "coaster seasons" when it comes to Asia though, especially further south.
Xiushangbanna is near the borders of Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar. For all intents and purposes, it's South-East Asia, with a tropical/sub-tropical climate. It's a year-round travel destination, and as such, the park could open at any time of the year.
Great news! I'm really liking the direction in which B&M flyers are going at the moment, if Starry Sky Ripper is anything to go by as an indication for the future. I've solely ridden Air and Manta, but save pretzel loops, I've always found flyers a little disappointing in terms of force and with more extreme elements akin to dutchmans starting to filter their way into designs, I've got good hopes for the future.
If the next generation of flyers are as forceful as Starry Sky is claimed to be, I'll be happy! Also, if supports are also yellow, then China seems a very likely candidate (they seem to like their curry coasters!)
