New attractions at Paultons Park

And then closed again because it wasn't ready haha

...and the landscaping definitely wasn't ready.
For a May 26 opening, I don't think there's concern for anything yet.

I'd wait and see and we'll likely know more during the half term period in February.

We could get views from Magma, Cobra and the Lost Kingdom coasters on the construction area of what's going on.

Definitely my most anticipated new ride for 2025 in the UK (we're not getting much to be fair) im very interested in how it all comes together, but its looking good so far.

In regards to the map update i would be fine if this was the whole land, when you include the Cobra, Edge and Magma it will be bigger than any current land.

The Go-cart area will probably be part of the land too but i dont mind it being used as a phase two expansion or something else. I do wonder what the future holds for the old flume/water Kingdom area now being in front of two nice themed lands.

The park opened today and @Paultons_hoot has taken some great photos.

Ghostly Manor is looking spooky.

Not much has happened to the 2026 area.

However the solar car ports are in.

And they also spotted this marker in Critter Creek, i cannot tell if its highlighting a nail/little trip hazard they need to sort out? Cannot imagine they are planning something here so soon.

😬 sorry for the triple post but i saw this nice little park tour.

4:32 for Ghostly Manor
24:30 for Magma 2026 area view

In the post above i said not much has happened in the 2026 area but it has, especially with the go-cart area. From Magma you get a great overview.

More land clearing has taken place with quite a few trees being cut down leaving a line backing onto the river, with more being removed within the go-cart track and around where the dragon roundabout used to be.

More markings popping up round the go-carts also, so while i was thinking this area would be a phase two its looking more like this will be part of this massive 2026 area.

Finally Edge looks to be getting a taller fence or wall.

Once Ghostly Manor opens the park can shift their focus to 2026 and i cannot wait to see this area change.

Hi guys. Theme Park Guide has spotted that surveying has been taking place at Paultons Park:
Could this potentially be the start of a new investment in the Cobra/Edge region of the park? It would be good if it was; that area is one that sticks out as a prime investment location within Paultons, in my opinion.

What do you guys think?
I will have to go down to the park myself and check it out but I’m very interested haven’t been paultons for years.

The space is massive - it's going to be a massive investment for the park, I imagine on a similar scale to that of Tornado Springs 😍
The current construction area including Cobra and Edge is nearly double that of Tornado Springs. This will be the biggest investment to date for sure, will have to see what they announce if anything in May.

Rumour has it that the Vikings Area will open in Phases over two years, with the first phase re-theming the existing rides and adding new rides in the lawns beside Cobra, with a mack water coaster replacing the go carts for 2027. @Dispatch_Jack

The water coaster would be interesting to see 🤔

I thought the Go Karts site would fit a clone of Viking Voyage at Emerald Park however looking at Plohn's new water coaster for 2026, it looks like it could fit either a clone of or something similar to what they're installing there.

To my understanding there was a staff memo put out several weeks ago that explicitly confirmed a new coaster and another ride for 2026, which supports this.

The scaffolding has come down for Ghostly Manor.

The entrance sign is back up after coming down for a bit. Considering we have till May 17th for the opening its already looking great, once their gardening teams come in and the theming is done i think this will look fantastic.

Also if we were to get a water coaster while not my first choice, a UK first is cool and im hoping for a custom layout, a launch would be a cherry on top.

Even though the park has a history of buying cloned layouts I'm doubtful they are getting the one Plohn is building. That one was created for the very specific plot of land there, which you would basically have to replicate for it to work. On the other hand I do think the launched version is quite likely as Paultons is currently missing a launch coaster. A combination of the LIM launch and an elevator lift could also be possible.
