Most theme parks visited in a year

Hello, I'm new here and this is my first thread. Sorry if there's already another thread about this topic.

Anyway, what is the most number of theme parks that you visited in a year? For me, it is only five: One spring I visited Orlando Florida and went to Disney Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Universal, and Islands of Adventure. Then later in the summer I visited Six Flags New England for the first time.

I think we didn't have this topic yet
Well, in 2011 I've been to about 5/6 parks, which were mostly new for me; Busch Gardens Tampa, Gardaland (revisit), SCBB, Universal Hollywood, (Pacific Park) and SFMM.

Last Season I went to

Seabreeze, Drien Lake, Kennywood, Port Aventura, Canada's Wonderland, Knoebels, Lakemont, Hersheypark, Kings Dominion, and Busch Gardens Willamsburg.

So 10.

I believe ECG will take the cake after his cross country insanity last year...

Probably America 2007, I probably visited about 13 parks in that fortnight alone, plus the usual UK parks and what not so I'm looking at about 18 in one year.

I'll smash that this year though. I've done 5 already and I've got 4 in Finland, 3 in Sweden, at least 5 in the USA, about 8 English Parks and 3 (or is it 4?) Scottish parks. Plus I might go to France and Belgium. Should be able to hit 30. Hmm, all those lovely new park guides to write <3

If we're talking about the number of differnet parks (rather than including repeat visits to the same park) then I think this year will probably win for me.

So far I've done Efteling and 6 UK parks

Still to go I've got at least 7 more UK parks and about 16 in Japan.

That's plus any other random trips that happen between now and the end of the year. So yeah, I think I'll manage at least 30.

Its not something I've ever kept track off so doing this from guess work. ^_^

Whilst last year ended well, I didn't do anything besides 1 Thorpe trip before USA live in June and so my park count was low due to an effectively half season for me. The years before that I was a poor student so finances limited any large trips away so I can't believe they would have achieved much more than ~10 different parks in a year.

This year is already off to a flying start and I should easily smash any previous years park count. I've already managed 7 and have I a total of 37 confirmed to be happening, of which 20 are a new for me park visit (yay credits!) There aren't many "big" parks in that list though, mainly short trips hopping around Europe (and Russia!) collecting the parks I've missed over the years. I'm sure there will be some more popping up as the year goes on too - i'm desperate to get the Italy parks since I missed the CF-Live there.

More than I thought it would be: 19. Considering I live in Florida and go to the parks every year, my base count is 8 every year.

Yeah... I had a couple really bonkers years. Never counted by parks, but I've had three years where I got over 100 new-for-me credits, one of which was around 180. Those years included trips to several places I'd been before, such as Cedar Point and Blackpool, and thus only got one or two new coasters while there.

I'd venture to guess that I was over 100 parks at least one of those years, if not two.

Since I got out of the Navy, I've scaled way back until I finish college, though.
