Following on from our pre heide park visit to serengeti park (costing around 20 euros for 2 creds), and Mushrooms trip to Marchenwald (germany) - at 13 euros for 1 cred, I was looking at prices for norwegian parks considering doing some before the live.

Kongeparken has 2 creds - and costs 38 pounds in high season (28 in low season)
Lilleputthammeer has just http://rcdb.com/2494.htm and costs 295 krona - about 30 quid (24 in low season)
Hunderfossen - where they have the fabby new zierer http://rcdb.com/11903.htm - is £38 in high season, 33 in low season

And kristiansand zoo - where they have an alpine coaster costs £40 in high season, it is a lot lower out of high season, but the alpine coaster is only open in high season.

any others?
 
Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios both have a $94 gate price for one coaster each.

(Even a multipark ticket will work out high per coaster)
 
Yeah, I feel there is a difference between most expensive cred and price per cred, if that makes any sense. Sure some parks have high gate prices and only 1 or 2 creds, but offer so much more that I dont consider the creds expensive.

When I think expensive cred I think Manhatten Express which was like $15 a ride when I rode, or even Fun Spot creds which are like $9 a pop unless you purchase a pass or armband. Compare those to say Ravine Flyer which was $4 a ride when I went last year.
 
^The Big Apple Coaster, as it's now called, is actually $14. At least Desperado is only $10. The Cyclone at Coney Island is also $9 now ($1 price increase from the previous years). Compare that to a similar coaster like Zippin Pippin at Bay Beach, which costs $1 a ride (with no entrance fees at either park).
And I get your point about high entrance fees at parks with only a cred or two, but other things to do. However, I still think many are a total rip off. Like Clementon Park near Great Adventure, which costs $40 with only Wildcat and a few piss poor rides in a dump of a park.
 
How about Legoland Windsor for just 2 coasters and a on the day gate price of £50 I believe

Many parks in Korea, China and Japan offer pay as you go, and big coasters like Eejanaika are easily ten bucks a pop or more.

...but if you take transportation into account, I've paid well over $100 for a single credit on a couple occasions.
 
A trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas for 5 roller coasters would cost:

- $197.26 in gasoline (Assuming 30 mpg)
- $10 Admission, Desperado, Buffalo Bill's Casino
- $14 Admission, Roller Coaster, New York New York Hotel
- $10 Admission, Canyon Blast, Adventuredome
- $10 Admission, El Loco, Adventuredome

Which averages out to $60 a roller coaster. If you throw in the little kiddie coaster at Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix, that drops the average to $50.
 
$22.95 for the Funplex Funcoaster in New Jersey, $40 for Clementon as ECG said before. Basically besides Great Adventure prepare to drop some dough at the parks in New Jersey and New York.
