What's new

Most anticipated rides 2016

I don't have any definite plans for the coming season, but…

Possibility of a Sweden trip… that would focus on things like Helix, Balder, and Wildfire.

Lake Compounce is always an option, I could try out that new Premier thing (that model always looked like pretty fun ride to me)

What else, might go back to the PA area and pick up Knoebels, so Pheonix would be a highlight.

Might even give Great Adventure another chance and finally get on El Toro. Who knows really?

Wildfire and Phobia Phear look like the only new-for-2016 rides I might possibly ride atm… but here are the rest of the 2016 rides that I'm excited for:

Flying Aces - still looks to be the best one of this year
Lightning Rod
Taron
That new Intamin Mega
That Intamin Launched thing
Storm Chaser
Mako

At least those are the ones I'm currently ecstatic for. There are certainly others like Valravn, Joker, and other random ass rides that look cool, but my excitement for those have either died down a bit or haven't took off quite yet.

But honestly this year seems to have some of the best new additions than previous years imo.

Sandrush Dan?

Best case scenario I'll be getting to Madrid and Europa Park this year so there's plenty I'm looking forward to.

Absolute top of the list is probably Blue Fire after how good Helix was. Then maybe Wodan to see if it can get close to Balder. And actually Batman because of how highly some people rate it.

Also reckon Abismo and Tarantula will be good, looking forward to Superman and hoping I have the bottle for Stunt Fall.

^Oh God if you're expecting Blue Fire and Wodan to come close to Liseberg's pair your year is gonna be a disappointing one xD

Mako. <3

Oh God I just fall more in love with Mako everytime I see more of it. The cute shark head trains! The two tone purple and blue track! The steepness of the first drop! That stunning looking overbank!

It sure is going to give a much needed Mako-ver to the damaged SeaWorld brand.

Being a B+M hyper means it's pretty much a guaranteed great solid ride. They just never let you down. Even the slightly less amazing ones (Silver Star etc) are still super fun.

Second most anticipated is Derren Brown's Ghost Train. I'm really intregued by it. I am one of the few who actually love Sub Terra, so I can't wait for another new Merlin dark ride.

Getting more excited for Lost Gravity now they've revealed those fab trains and that it won't spin. Looks like such a quirky one!

Lightning Rod looks pretty much like the perfect coaster but I won't be riding it this year so I'm trying to quelch my excitement for now.

Existing coasters that I already have a definite plan to get

Karnan: Looked amazing when it opened last year and can't wait to see the theming completed.
Mindbender: Super-massive indoor Canadian Schwarz will be incredible.
Tremors: Really hope it's as good as people say it is!

New for 2016 coasters with a definite plan

Taron: Like everyone else I can't wait to ride in the back.
Wildfire: First RMC in Europe. Will be amazing.

New for 2016 that I'm hoping to ride but are very unplanned at the moment

Lightning Rod: Defo a contender for my favourite RMC and therefore my favourite cred.
Storm Chaser: Probs won't be my fave RMC but still better than 99% of the creds I've done. Could be a lot of fun.
Lost Gravity: Looks bonkers but looks great too.

Although I will not be riding either, Lightning Rod or Wildfire. RMC is life, RMC is love. There are two new for 2016s that I will potentially ride this year, Valravn and Storm Chaser. Looking more forward to Storm Chaser. Valravn is bigger and faster, but Storm Chaser looks so much better, because RMC.

Taron and Wildfire - So excited to ride my first RMC.

I won't ride it this year but really looking forward to the reviews about Lighting Rod, looks so awesome! And Mako, such a great addition to the coaster line up in Florida.

Taron and Wildfire, since those are the only two I could possibly get to.

I'm interested to see how GaleForce works out though.

New for 2016 that I'll ride this year:

1. Taron
- It's an Intamin Multi Launcher with Phantastic theming...

2. Wildfire
- My first RMC and it looks insane.

3. Lost Gravity
- Unique, fun looking ride.

4. Pulsar
- More nice looking innovation from MACK.

5. Raik
- It's so pretty!
