Manhattan Express/Roller Coaster - Premier Trains.

Just recently found this mounted POV of Manhattan Express/Roller Coaster on Youtube. Looking at it, it still looks monstrously rough, even with the new Premier trains.

Now I know that the coaster has always been horrendously rough, but did the Premier trains make much of a difference? Looking at the POV, it still looks awful, but I guess a lot of it is to do with a poor mount on the train (for example, I fail to believe that the lift hill is as rough as it looks in the video, so that's down to the mounting of the camera).

Has anyone ridden it before and after the refurb? And were the new trains worth it?
 
When I first rode it, it was with a nearly empty train and it kinda hurt a bit. Riding it with a full train and in the middle made it feel far smoother....but those transitions <///3
 
You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

Trains are no hope of remedy for a horribly designed roller coaster.
 
Might be one of the few oddballs out there, but I LOVED Manhattan Express. the perfect floater hills, the cool hang and dive inversion... the views! I rode it 3 times (front seat///beack seat) I found that by pushing the OTSR as tight as it would go left no room for it to bang me around. Keeping it up a little made the ride less enjoyable but with it nice and snug it was really a good ride, I'd even go as far to say the best ride in Vegas (even WITH Speed still being open)
