Krake - B&M dive machine for Heide Park

Lol, makes Don't Look Down seem childish...

Hopefully the actual tunnel looks like that in the end... Haven't seen any pics of it recently so... Fingers crossed...
 
Do you think the teeth will close in around the train because that would be awesome and then is there any chance they might install a loop inside the monster because the layout looks a little short but those teeth are awesome and I really want to ride this and I can't wait until Thorpe gets one.

Looks like the mouth will be installed soon! It's strange how late this is going in, maybe it had taken longer than expected to make it. Although I think all the time spend on it will be worth it, it looks fantastic. Check out the big ass tentacle behind the teeth.

As short as the ride is, I think Merlin have done a great job on it so far, I really hope I get to ride it soon.
 
The themeing looks to be excellent. Seeing that huge drop straight into a trim looks weird though.
 
The theming looks greta on the station and what not. I'm looking forward to seeing the actual "Krake" being built.

I believe that they are there to simulate the braking force the of the water scoops for the splash feature and they are most likely going to be removed once they fill the pond with water.
 
Music is something that tends to be forgotten about when it comes to new ride discussion, probably because it's more of a passive part of the theme. When there's a project like this though, it's very important.

Do you have any samples we could hear?
 
This reminds me, I bought 'Teeth' on DVD the other week. Must get round to watching it.

Is that all the theming there is? PMSL if it is.

I thought there was a ship wreck that is was meant to go through etc?
 
I really hope you go into the mouth =/ all the adverts and park map and press statement make it pretty clear that's what it's going to do. Bit worried now.

I do find it strange that they built those metal things on the track a few weeks back, but now they're not there
 
Nah I think that is it, why half fill the pond if there is more theming to be done they would not fill it until its all done.

The mouth is already in the pond if you look, there is no room for it on the drop.
