LEGO! Emma at work bought a bucket of lego off someone at work the other day, but was convinced that half of it was missing... so I got to play with it and spend the afternoon counting it all out :D

There was actually more in there than there should've been. Hurrah!

Sticklebrick...wins hands down!

Bloody hell, that takes me back!

New poll, which hurts more when you stand on it in bare feet...

Sticklebricks or Lego?

I had both in my childhood but i would have to say Lego wins!!

During the time i owned both i used to try to built things that were part K'nex and part Lego, Annoyingly i always seemed to fail :( .

LOL! Lego! Stickle bricks are actually quite soft really. They're also better for you if you eat them - they give your colon a good brushing as they pass through :p

You got first hand knowledge of that, or...

K'nex is better for things with lots of moving parks.
My collection of Technic Lego + Mindstorms begs to differ.

Lego, but it's lost something over the years with the pre-moulded specialist bits

Definitely. I bought Ali some for Christmas, it was a fair-sized set, not huge, and be put the thing together in about 5 minutes. Sucks all the fun out of it really.

well.

I used to love deuplo (the giant lego blocks) but after my mum stoped buying them and i had to use the little lego bricks that take hours to produce a highly vunrable and tiny modle i turned to k'nex.

Hmmmm Very difficult question actually...

I like them both equally I guess...

K'nex I had first, and I've got a ton of it, including motors, sensors, lights, control boxes, track sections, bendy bits, panels, gears and pulleys... I've built LOADS of different things with it, admittedly mainly fairground rides, including a 4ft Ferris wheel, the Rippin Rocket Coaster, and even a kind of samurai thingy, which didn't work lol.

I got the cyber K'nex set too which was cool, except it didn't really work properly lol, but I adapted the kit and made new things which was awesome!

Lego? I love that too, mainly because of all the theme things they do, like pirates and indiana jones (temple escape ftw) oh and then there's the added bonus of I get 50% off ANYTHING from legoshop.com and I've spammed that so much lately hahaha.

I used to build movie sets out of lego, unfortunately it's long since been taped over, but one of my best films I ever made was called "pizza dude" and all the sets/props/characters were made out of lego. Good times...

Grew up on Lego. Got Knex for easter one year, and bought an old coaster set from a store.

I still have my legos and my nephews play with my old knex. Should say for itself.
