What's new

Kings Dominion | Rapterra | B&M Launched Wing Coaster | 2025

Unless you do it first, you shouldn't be allowed to come up with new element names. Flat spins usually enter turns (step up under flips that don't step up for context)

Looks fine, but B&M just sort of sucks. Outside of Montu, they have nothing in my top 25 (kumba, Mako, candymobium, Medusa sfdk all missed out after some tips this summer)

Also the rattles get worse at least on Emporer and Mild Eagle from year to year. Even on middle seats, Iron Meanace had many obvious jolts.

Should be a pretty Mid 1 and done type credit much like most non-invert B&Ms

Thunderbird is easily the best wing coaster in the states and this looks like it could rival it. Will need to ride it but it looks like a much stronger addition than we thought when we assumed it was just a normal wing coaster

Maybe the excuse for the 360 raptor roll name is it includes the turn into the station. That makes it a longer element overall and still completing the full 360 degrees. Not the best reasoning but none of the names feel any more absurd than some other 'unique' marketing tags we get. Looks like a fun coaster that should please many who ride it.

I'm sure that's their reasoning but it's basically the same element as the one on heavens wing except the turn from that has some verticality to it.

It looks... fine? It doesn't seem to really do anything very interesting.

Hopefully with a bit more speed the forces will be alright, but doesn't feel hugely inspired.
