Second in line after Sun World Sam Son on the conveyor belt of Vietnam's new park boom is Kim Quy Park. Also being built by Sun Group this park will be one of their larger parks with a total area of 101 hectares, although only part of that will be an actual theme park.

This new park has been planned for quite a while but due to the pandemic and some issues with clearing just 3% of the land (an old grave yard) has been delayed for a while. However the government seems have stepped in to push this project forwards again and things are moving.

Current Progress
Land clearing is mostly complete and the main lakes have been dug.

Plenty of terribl concept art for your perusal including the standard vague non specific coaster layouts

Confirmed Coasters
The first coaster has been confirmed for the park and will be the first racing wooden coaster in Vietnam. As this is being built by Sun Group and they recently built Roaring Timbers it is probably not a bad bet this will be a GCI racing woodie.

Location
North of the city of Hanoi

It'll be interesting to see if the duelling corkscrew GCI model is finally built or if they're going for a different layout.

This is exciting, I'd love to see how a modern-day duelling GCI would be regardless of whether it will be an Infinity Flyer/inverting model or not, given the last one built was Lightning Racer once upon a time.

Wasn’t Joris en de Draak at Efteling built after Lightning Racer? Or am I wrong there?

Joris looks great fun, though, so something of that vein should be a brilliant fit!
