Kiddie Coasters!

^Yeah but Altons I would class as a family ride.

As for the question, which kiddies coasters stand out? Definately Ortobruco Tour at Gardaland. 6 lifthills on a caterpillar coaster, madness!

It does go quite fast into the tunnel

Yeah, I'm not seeing how things like Roller Skaters and "big" Tivoli coasters are being put under the "kiddy" umbrella.

Sure, they're suitable for kids, but they're not aimed at kids exclusively. It's daft to just label anything under the 50ft mark as "kiddy".

1) Lofty is right, Tomahawk. Although, yeah, that's a family, not a kiddie.

2) Yes. We did count it. After we broke it, went back half an hour later, begged the ride op, rode individually, and I had to wait 3 cycles after the boys had been on because small children kept pushing in.

3) Eugh, Ben! That THING at Flamingoland </3

Squirrel nutty!!!!

Seriously it sucks though and is more of a painfully slow monorail than a coaster...it doesn't provide any thrills for anyone!

Pony Express has that under 50ft mark deal going for it to be a kiddie coaster, and it certainly packs a punch much larger than expected, but I'm thinking that anything with a launch PROBABLY doesn't go under the kiddie category. So barring that... only ride I can think of that I've been on that could come close to being a kiddie is the Trail Blazer, but that's also definitely a family, not kiddie. So meh.

I suppose, but they're more a flat ride than an actually coasting coaster. They're "grey area" coasters which I wouldn't count it (I don't count Go-Gators either); but I guess. I take it they can handle adults?

Counting those things would be a bit like counting this,

Same with go gators.

I do agree with the 'grey area' coaster thing though. I don't count these anymore as even though they're essaintly powered coasters they don't actually get their power from the track. They get it from the centre thing.

I agree with others, Rollerskaters are not kiddie coasters, especially the large version, thats actually quite thrilling and fast.

That extremely long, gay caterpillar coaster thing that Loefet rode on his long trip looks quite fab.
