Something doesn't quite look right about that little 'lump' in the middle... Looks like it could be pretty painful...

They know what they are doing, its all hand built and with their years of experience I'm sure it'll be smooth as silk, it'll be a smooth hard floater burst followed by hard dose (but smooth) dose of positive g's.

It just looks more like something you'd see on a Wild Mouse coaster, not something with a long train.

Maybe its just the angle that makes it look odd to me :|

That looks really good tbh, loads of air time on that coaster :) It is a bit short though and does seem to die a bit near the end but other than that it looks great.

Looks really good.
At least if the EuroLive was still going ahead this year we would of got on it. Oh well. There's always next year. :p

We have just posted our video that we shot for Efteling during our Club TPR event on 4 July. This video features mounted camera POVs of both tracks - Water and Fire - as well as onride racing shots, offride shots and even a camera mounted reverse POV.

Enjoy!

^Just finished watching that. It looks like some serious fun, and it's awesome you coincided this with your Europe trip. Great video.

Thank you! Yeah, this Europe Trip was meant to highlight the "most recent" big coasters in Europe - Mammut, iSpeed, Blue Fire, Black Mamba, and Joris en de Dragon. Of course Olympia Looping was a nice bonus!

But anyway, I totally thought Joris really delivered, especially for it's size! What a very fast and out of control woodie the whole way around. And the racing element (as always) just adds to the fun!

I was also very impressed to see re-designed GCI lap bars to accomodate for younger (lower height restriction) riders. Joris is 43.5" compared to other GCI's at 48"

Loved the camerawork in the part of the vid where you were swinging around and showing the other train crossing over and under, it really captured the excitement of the ride. A great (excuse the pun) addition to the park.

Thank you! That was probably the toughest part to get just right. I think I shot about 10 takes trying to get the trains to match up, the water bomb to be timed just right, etc.

That section of the video is actually my favorite part as well. Really shows off how nuts that part of the ride is because everyone on the train is looking to see where the other one is, so not only are you crossing over back and forth, but the having to find where the other train ducked and disappeared to really adds to the fun.

Does anyone know how equal these two coasters are, I mean like Lightning Racers where a small difference in weight means the difference between winning or loosing.
To me it seems like the fire side always wins...

Just like Stampida when Red always wins, why is that, and whats with the retarded chain lift on Stampida? Sorry, a little off topic, but I would be greatful if anyone could tell me :p

Hi, I'm TPR and I always find ways to advertise my videos on other forums.

Glad to hear the ride delivered, though. It always looked interesting to me.

The POV sections of the video were good and I did like some of the offride and onride shots. However, I hated the yelling and 'banter'. It felt so corny, cheesy and, to be honest, awful.

Anyway, the ride looks brilliant. It looks like it has a lot of near misses and the track is superbly twisty. Might have to head over to Efteling soon to see for myself!
