Theatre itself is not gay. But some of the people in it here are super arrogant and think they're better, hence the name, Those guys are gay b/c they act so superficial, like a stereotypical type of cheerleader.

Yea, but IMO, it is not gay. But some of the people in it can tend to get on peoples nerves.

I've seen many plays and musicals and think they are great because you feel more involved with whats going on with the play, because its happening in front of you. Rather than behind a screen.

Well in the last month i've seen more than 6 plays and i'm as straight as kir.

But i've always felt the theatre was a little "un-optimal" i mean getting the same people to do the same play in the same way night after night so everyone can get to see it. Why not just perform it once, video it, and play it back to anyone who wants to see it?

When I was doing my A-level in Theatre Studies, only one guy in the class was "officially" gay. Now, there's only one left who identifies himself as straight.

Going to the theatre isn't gay, but a large proportion of the people who work in it certainly are.
