Iron Dragon & Ninja closing soon?

being completely honest ive never been on ninja so i cant speak for that, but iron dragon was near utter boredom.

Ninja is incorporated into the terrain and is MUCH faster. You scream through a lot of the turns, and coupled with the nearby foliage, it makes for a thrilling ride.

Ninja is awesome, especially at night! And I see nothing wrong with 3 kiddie coasters. Why do enthusiasts act like no one under 12 likes to ride coasters. Who cares *why* they put them in? They do serve a purpose.

They may serve a purpose but there is really no need for 3 of them. For one, a lot of young riders should be able to ride Ninja, it's really not that intense by any means. Also, if a kid wants to go on a coaster like Magic Flyer or the like, they probably aren't looking for great variety in terms of coasters so the others are really just superfluous. And when you say "who cares why they put them in" you need to realize where you are posting this message. You are at a coaster enthusiast site...everyone cares why a ride is put in or at least they should.
I have nothing against the under twelve demographic getting their thrills but to be completely honest, Magic Mountain has plenty of alternatives for young riders and there is really no reasonable justification for having so many kiddie coasters...especially if they are trying to pass them off as counting toward their overall coaster total.

It adds to their coaster collection. Their latest family ride was a hand-me-down.

BTW, the only thing enthusiasts around here care about is the cred. That's it. End of story, can't argue it.

:p

Like it's been said before neither SFMM or CP is probably willing to get rid of any coasters right now

I can't see SFMM closing Ninja anytime soon since it's still the fastest suspended coaster in the world and as for Iron Dragon...it's a family coaster for guests that haven't got the courage to face the larger rides.

If either of these rides are demolished then all we can expect is another family coaster...

Iron Dragon was very boring. there are plenty of family coasters at cedar point, im totally fine with it going.
Ninja looks a little better and I think it could remain at sfmm for quite some time

^ ive never ridden vampire, so I cant really comment on how good/bad the ride is.
The arrow coasters seem to be becoming extinct, now with only the flight deck one's remaining (at wonderland and KI), the rest are all pretty much nonsense.
