I remember you breaking Vampire once when I was at Chessie. I may not of been you but the other staff were laughing at you and you were leaning on the air-gates with your hands behind your head. :p

If Vampire kept breaking cos of me it may as well have been SBNO the last two years :lol:


Would you be counting a Bubbleworks fast-stop as a breakdown Ian? And I'm not too sure about a large person on Rameses counting as a proper one, due to it being easy to reset...

I would say a breakdown would involve one that either requires a Team Leader's presence for resetting it or lasts over 5 minutes...

Apart from the new laser ride, I think you'll struggle for a break down at lego land...

Vampire always seems to have issues in like small 5 minute stints. But again, I think you might have issues here too :p Unless Dragons Fury is having a bad day.

Bring on the brainfreeze!!!!

Sounds like a fun way to spend an afternoon though!

Thorpe:
Coaster - Fish
Flat - Zodiac
Breakdown - Whatever takes your fancy


Chessie:
Coaster - Rattlesnake
Flat - Black Buccaneer
Breakdown - Try Beanoland, Dodgems or Bash Street Bus looks your best bet :lol:


Lego:
Coaster - Dragon (Sir Alan Dragon always has a huuuuge queue!)
Flat - Dino Safari (very good for funny filming, would be great for the overall video)
Breakdown - If all else fails, knock over a train in mini-land :wink:
 
Good news! It looks like it'll piss down all day on Friday so that should cause a few rides to break/close.
 
Aye that rain is good news! This is such an awesome idea ha! I can't wait for the report!

What order are you doing Chessie and Thorpe in? Might be an idea to leave Thorpe till last incase A) you get held up there with the queues on a rainy school day and B) you're pretty much guranteed a break down anyway so you won't need to hunt around for one! I bet it'll be much harder at Chessington and especially Legoland.

Again, awesome idea! I lurrrve it. Can't wait to see how it goes!
 
From my house (where the gorgeous and amazin' Vadge is picking me up from <3), Legoland is closest, then it's Thorpe, then Chessington so that's the prefered order.

Thorpe is open until 6pm, the others until 5pm. Doing Thorpe last would mean doublebacking on ourselves, which is probably more of a waste of time!

Besides, I've been to Thorpe on school days before and notcied that it does get buiser about 3pm when the schools/colleges kick out...I guess that's a "problem" with it having decent public transport links nearby and good-value-for-money Anal Passes.

Lego, Thorpe, Chessie is the perfered route. I just hope the M3/M25 isn't stuffed!
 
Bad news... just came back from Thorpe and guess what... no breakdowns! Even slammer was running all day. Ok, so Stealth reset once this morning, but that hardly counts. Also, longest queue for any ride all day was Inferno which had almost filled the first cattle pen. So, fingers crossed, we might not have to settle for fish afterall :)

If nothing breaks down at Thorpe just throw some metal (penny?) from the top of rush so they close it down until the Sun finish the story on how it's the second time the ride's almost killed someone. :p
 
Slammer has been down all week though, well their web sight says it has. Are you 2 looking for rides that are running then break down?
 
Just rides not open is good enough!
 
well... slammer was definately running all day yesterday... Jake and I went on it!
 
Slammer is listed as ride currently unavailble on Thorpes website just a min ago. So you could get lucky with that being down, and you won't be able to ride that as your Flat either.
 
I wouldn't want to ride it anyway! It give me a minging headache.

I'm not a spin & spew flat ride person.

Everything is set now, got a rough itinerary, a packed lunch and the camera is on charge.

I'm pretty confident we'll do it with time to spare, but who knows...
 
The magical adventures of 2 Hills, Vadge and a Bell.

We were planning to meet them for Thorpe and Chessie, but timing didn't allow.

So Thorpe ;)

Actually AMAZING afternoon.

We got there at 2, they got there at 2.30 after completing their mission of 3 parks.

Really did take it slow today! Didn't care though, with great company.

The best ever ending to the day on Inferno. I'll go through the story. Beanz and Vadge tryed to get Ewans attention on the console. They did and the PA announcement starts "OoOoh someones waving at me, its alright they come every friday, need to go back to the home soon"

Got to the gates, Ewan gave me 'the look'. On PA: "Ladys and gentlemen,...Ian, in row 4 is having his 55th birthday today! Happy birthday to you...Happy birthday to you...Hiphip horay! etc" Then the whole station started singing!! We were pissing ourselfs!! Ian really wanted to hide! Ewan could barely dispatch the train, he was laughing so hard!

Then onto 7 re-rides ;) With a CP style announcement from Ewan on the return. We tryed many positions to ride on the train, one getting your legs right up for the whole ride. Flappy trowsers haha. Really odd sensation.

And finally "oggy oggy oggy oi oi oi" up the lift twice!

Oh god, its so hard to discribe how awesome this last hour was. Thank you Ewan. And thanks Vadge and Ian for making the day really enjoyable.

Ian and Nic obviously had fun today and they can tell there story when they get time but soo much fun had with them at Thorpe, forgot what fun Ian and Nic were to be with, Thanks Guys.

And Leigh mamaged to get the footage for the long time in coming Saw Doc. Hopefull will finish this week.

Same ride count as Leigh apart from Samaurai, and you can shove that one IMO.
