It has been at least 4 years since I have been at an amusement park. I am hoping to go to kings island, but I feel like I won't be ready for the rides. This is because I have not ridden the good rides at an amusement park. I heard from a member on these forums that I should go to Beech Bend Park to get used to amusement park rides again. I know the staff is rude at Beech Bend. I also know that the lines are very short for rides at beech bend. I am going to try to ride every ride that does not get me wet (I hate getting wet at an amusement park), including air race and vortex. The only ride that looks good at beech bend is The Kentucky Rumbler. This park will also give me an opportunity to ride a small drop tower ride (small being relative to other drop tower rides at major parks). This way I can find out what rides I like and what rides I don't like. Do you have any advice for anyone who has not been to an amusement park in a while? Is air race, vortex, or zero G the best flat ride at the park? Also, do you miss Power Surge at beech bend park? They replaced power surge with air race at beech bend park. Any help is helpful to me.
