Good Parks with Bad Clientele

Six flags America, it really is a good looking park with some good rides, but the people can be annoying...

Cedar point had some school or church or whatever group there when I went and they were making a ride operator mad. Was kinda funny when the ride-op barked at em!! XD But they were really annoying and they kinda following us!

SFOG is by far the best worst combo in terms of looks great on paper but the clientele and disgusting operations just destroy any chance of enjoyment.

Kennywood is pretty bad too - I've never been anywhere where I felt uncomfortable because every single person looked identical. Same face structure, build and all wearing Steelers merchandise. Unlike Gavin, I felt like I would enjoy the park a whole lot more if it wasn't for the people, who were numerous, loud and weirdly awkward. Their no single rider policy on their wooden coasters meant our group of 3 had to take turns sitting next to one of those... People. You get stared at a lot there if you aren't a local. Stared at by mouth breathers.

And I agree with the PortAventura comments, though honestly, is that not just all Spanish parks? How a nation produces such over hyperactive teens who turn into adults who fall asleep at any given second is beyond me. You have to deal with people right up your arse the entire time in line, vandalism worse than a subway in a ghetto, queue jumping... And no one cares. No one. The staff move at a snails pace, and vanish for a siesta at any given moment.

I'll add a vote for dlp too - A few weeks ago I saw most people waiting at the shuttle bus stop just barge on as soon as the doors opened, without waiting for others to get off, and even going in front of people with pushchairs etc. I also saw someone in one of the restaurants approach a waiter (within a couple of minutes of walking in) when he was carrying a tray of food!

We might've seen the same group - there was a VERY LARGE church group at the park last year during a visit, that was constantly cheering in various ride stations. The danger in that was that the ride ops weren't able to hear each other, and did have to get rather stern to get them to shut up.

I usually don't have any trouble with people in parks. I just try to ignore the annoying people and am able to find many other very nice people. The only place that it seemed the bad people were just as many as the good was Disney World. While I had an amazing time regardless, the people there just killed me. They would ask to use the FP line without a FP. They would get mad at the staff for splitting up their party in the single rider line. They would ram their strollers into you and push you over during parades. They would rarely apologize and sometimes blame you for things they did. The worst part was when the children would get yelled because the parents blamed them for all the money they were paying. Nowhere else have I found such mean people. Luckily, I found just as many very nice people who were very kind and the staff was A+ as always. The only other example I can think of where its more than just a few people rude people is the Herschend parks. The people there are just so rude. They are obnoxious, loud, and usually have no remorse for others. Just like Disney though, a fantastic staff and some very nice people there as well made the park experience much better.

Yep. Ghetto trash fighting in large packs, cops tackling people, line-jumping, etc.

My worst experience so far at an otherwise great park were local teen visitors at Gröna-Lund. Even worse the fact that they massively line jumped at for example Jetline right next to a park security guy - and the later put on two blind eyes to avoid doing his work.
