I got tickets to Tenacious D at the NEC in december now, crap seats but I can't wait. If I get the Dragonforce tickets then that will have me all set. I am about 75% sure I am going to Unholy Alliance on Nov 1st too, but still havn't got tickets. The only problem with that is I have to record my music coursework on the morning after...

I may not have hit many gigs so far, but I guess I am making up for it later on this year.

I need to get to more, but I can never find people to go with. Anyway, Scissor Sisters coming up in November, so that should be good!

Nah, Port Talbot Afan Lido, which is prob the smallest venue they've played for years, and it's only 10 mins away :p

Man, Pealjam blew the **** roof of the Leeds festival last night
They did exactly the same at Reading last night. I'm biased, been a fan forever, but by <img src="http://www.coasterforce.info/images/smiles/5censored.gif" width="34" height="15"> they were good!!
I wish they'd come to the UK more often.
Too right. They apologised last night for not coming over often enough. I've often wondered how much love for PJ there is out there, based on last night's crowd reaction, there's plenty :D

MCR were very slick (and the new stuff sounded fantastic),

Pearl Jam.............I was really looking forward to seeing them live............hmmm wonder why we left after 3 songs? Erm the word crudy comes to mind

As for MCR................Seeing them again next month at Liverpool wooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooooooooo. Come on Kat soon time to have a long silly girlie day tehe. Yes Chaz you can join us later at the gig tehe.

Thing is i find - Festivals are not always the best place to seen bands - I saw pearl jam a couple of years back on the Binurial tour at Glasgow and manchester - and they where supurb.

next gig date for mne i think is Rise to Addiction or Saxon[/url]

On a scale of 1-10 for every band live wise:

The Sleeping: 8
Plain White T's: 6
Emery: 10
Relient K: 7
Hawthorne Heights: 5

The Sleeping and Emery blew me away. They were both so intense live and sounded just like their cd's. Plain White T's and Relient were both pretty good, playing all their big songs, the crowd loved it. Hawthorne Heights I was pressed against the stage and they just weren't very good live. The singing was just off, nothing like how clear and amazing it is on the CD. It was a fun night though moshing and crowd surfing.

^Because it's much more intense live, there's 100's of people enjoying it with you and you can't mosh while listening to the cd.
