Blue Collar Comedy Park?

RCDB just posted this link on facebook talking about members of the Blue Collar Comedy Crew opening a theme park.

It says construction has yet to begin and it would be located in Alabama. Anyone have any more information on the park or what might be going on? The article is pretty vauge and I don't know if this is going to be some legitimate place or its going to be some place that is open for a year or two then closes down. Thoughts?

There needs to be a coaster with a van shaped ride vehicle. The station should then be themed as Sears Tire and Auto. The ride is the result of what happens when the wheel falls off, falls off, falls the f*** off, and spins out of control. The ending would be going back to Sears while passing by a fiberglass knockoff of the Sears Tower (now Willis Tower for all you people just looking to jump on that mistake, sorry I live in Chicago, it's always the Sears Tower), which is then rebranded to be Ron White's Big Old F****** Building.

However, after reading the article, I see Ron is not putting any money up for this. This was just the only bit I could think of from any of the Blue Collar Comedians.

^ I take it you say that because you'd like to see a different SEC team win the national championship for a change? Fair enough, I somewhat agree & I think Georgia's due.

So, it seems this is finally happening. Although it's only the location that this new project has in common with Blue Collar Country. The new entertainment centre will be called Owa and the small amusement park it'll feature will have a number of attractions from Zamperla's catalogue, including a Thunderbolt clone and a Twister coaster.

RCDB also now added a third coaster, a kiddie one... And according to Amusement Today, the park will open sometime in May. I'm gonna try and visit in June.
 
The Thunderbolt is starting to go up...
