CF Legend
I actually got on it yesterday when I went to the park for a couple of hours but didn't want to write my trip report until after I'd been today.
Anyway yesterday we arrived at the park to catch the last few hours before it closed. We went straight over to Saw where Ewan was at the entrance letting controlling the merge of fastrack and the main queue. Straight in past a two hour queue.
The great thing was that we got put on the second car on my first ride. The bad news was that we were in the back row. So we could all see the pre-show bit but after that the seats in front blocked most the view inside.
After finally getting on it I got one of the really cool Syringe pens and a Saw: The Ride T-Shirt to reward myself.
After riding we wandered over towards Inferno. Were I met a certain member from CF (you'll have to guess who ) where we cheered about my success of getting on Saw for a while and we got shown another way to get more goes on Saw (Thanks for the tip ).
Then my brothers were hungry so headed into Burger King halfway through eating we got a call from our dad saying he was at the entrance so we went over and met him. We then all went on Saw again so my dad could go on. Again two hour queue went by in seconds.
I was kinda annoyed as we got stuck in the back row in the second carriage and I somehow ended up in the same seat as well. And my dad thought the ride was "Alright but nothing special" which I felt annoyed about.
We then decided to go on one last ride before we left so jumped on Slammer as my older brother hadn't been on it before. He didn't like it so he won't be doing it again.
Anyway onto today.
I went with both my brothers and one of my older brothers friends Lee. We got to the park around 11ish I think.
Guess what we went on first?
Yes SAW!!!
And this time we were in the front row if the first train. It was great and is really a front row ride as you see more of the effects and props and get much closer to the head choppers. After getting off we headed over to go on the Rapids but it was closed so we went and queued up for Detonator instead. The queue board said it was 40 minutes but we were on in about 15. Great ride, love the short but powerful drop.
After that we were getting hungry so we all had lunch. After that was finished we saw that the Rapids were open so we went on that.
So much for everyone saying you get soaked now. I didn't get much wetter than I have before. Yes there are a few more water effects on the first half but they usually only hit one or two seats out of the whole boat. The only one I got semi hit by was the waterfall that comes down in front of the tunnel.
After the rapids we decided to dry off on Inferno. Good fun this time and I didn't feel as dizzy and light headed at the end like I normally do. On the way out My older brother and his friend decided to go on Tidal Wave.
I would of gone on but I didn't want to get soaked and didn't want to pay £5 for a poncho so I decided that I'd take the pictures instead. The ride only had a 5 minute queue so we didn't have to wait long for them to get on. The wave was quite small today and didn't even get people wet who were standing on the bridge so I stood there to take my photos/videos. After they came off the wave got a bit bigger and started going over the bridge again and I got hit by all that spray that floats around after the wave.
After this I think we went on X://NWO as we just felt like we should do it as we were passing it. It wasn't too bad this time usually I fell light headed after getting off but I was fine today. I tried taking some photos inside but my flash on my camera is crap and it just came out almost completely blank. The we went over and went on Colossus. It was pretty fun and does seem a bit faster this season. Then we went on Saw again and went on the front row of the first carriage again. I wanted to go on the second car again as I wanted to show Lee the pre-show bit. Anyway I decided to sit on the right this time to see what everyone was moaning about there being a huge jolt at the bottom of the drop. It was quite rough but nowhere near as bad as people have been saying.
After that we went out to drop some stuff back in the car. Once back in the park we headed over to the Flying Fish. We seemed to be in the station for a while before we got going, and we got three laps because there wasn't much of a queue. I actually seemed to get wetter on Fish than I did on the rapids as there seemed to be a wet mist in the air (felt like it was raining) which I assume had been blown over from Tidal Wave.
Then we went on Loggers where we saw Chris behind the control desk. Loggers is still ok, but it's quite a boring flume apart from the fact that you get some good views of Saw.
After Loggers we went back on Saw then ended the day with Colossus.
