Favourite Rapids Ride?

In my opinion I think the rapids at Phantasialand are the best I've ever been on, with Popeye's coming in a close second.

Phantasialand's come in third - technically great, and airtime on the drop - but the other 2 are a bit more fun...
 
Best rapids?
For me those in Europa park (Fjord rafting, I think) and in Mirabilandia. The rapids in SFMM are boring and short, and you even don't get wet!

There was a good foot of water in the bottom of our boat after going round.

They're fab <3

I quite liked Grizzly River Rapids, but, they were short <//3
 
1) River Quest - Phantasialand
Amazing ride! Stunning structure and some unique features like the elevator and the drop.

2) Grand Canyon Rapids - Port Aventura
Like some other have said the layout and theme ain't anything special. What makes it special for me is the fast ride! I've never been on another rapids ride that fast! And the hot spanish weather too of course cool)

3) Kollerado - Liseberg
Very nice theming imo! You get very wet as well and the mist is something unique that I haven't seen on any other rapids ride. Only negative thing is the bad swedish weather..
 
I rarely get off a rapids ride dry (I thinks I has a curse on water rides, like, everyone would be dry compared to me 98% of the time).

All the rapids in the UK suck, it's like all the parks decided to just build the worst rapids they could. Legoland's is alright on occasion but it's really painful in the way it just bashes into everything.

I really love Bagatelle's and Phantasialand's rapids, they are just flipping mental. River Quest is obviously superior just for the fact IT'S IN A BIG FAKE CASTLE and just the whole element of surprise at the top of the elevator (which is just awesome in itself).

I remember absolutely loving (despite the freezing cold weather) the rapids at Liseberg in Sweden. That got pretty much everyone drenched and was fun, simple but effective.

Drakker at Rainbow Magicland was good and so was Mirabilandia's rapids, both quite similar just with different themes, not sure what one I prefer out of them two.


But yeah, out of all of them I think River Quest has to be my fav, it's just brilliant.
 
I purposely avoid rapids, I find them boring, I`am sure there are good ones out there, but so far ones I have been too have been mundane.
 
River Quest is ****.

Best rapids i've been on are the Parque Warner Madrid ones, purely for the absolutely insane spin you get on it. Sustained lateral g's <3
 
Gulliver's Warrington. Absolutely fantastic, brilliant theming, none stop thrill from start to finish and just generally the most awesome rapids experience ever! Totally under-rated.

I think I just wanted an excuse to go and get the couple of credits :--D
