Other ones I might want to include might include Phoenix's pre-lift tunnel and X2's turn into the lift with the cabaret music starting off the audio. Mystery Mine's drop under the rock crusher is kind of cool too.

Kennywood's Thunderbolt has two nice drops into the ravine. Jack Rabbit across the park has a couple of drops before the lift, too, but Thunderbolt wins this for me.

Vliegende Hollander has the most amazing and atmospheric pre-lift section though. Baron 1898 and Huracan both deserve some recognition too I'd say.

If we're including pre-launch moments too, Helix is easily so fab <3

Not much theming I must admit but the weirdness before the lift on Twisted Colossus. Super odd but strangely fun.

Yes, the playful, funhouse hops on TC are what first came to my mind.
