A simple question with a not so simple answer. Which inversion do you most enjoy?

I'm not sure how it is called. It is something like a dive drop, but not on a wing coaster and not as first drop either. It is a 180° heartline roll, followed by half a loop downwards. Found on Karacho, Tripsdrill for example.

^ that looked like a dive loop (which is what I voted for). I also like the flow of the first inversions on SLCs and sea serpents.

I said zero g roll.

It's actually close between zero g rolls and pretzel loops on flying coasters, but I've only done 2 pretzel loops that ride about the same and the zero g roll can be found in many places and can sometimes ride a bit different (ranging from snappy to floaty). I tend to find zero g's the best element on a coaster. Plus Nemesis's zero g is the single best inversion on any coaster. <3

The poll is also missing the zero g stalls found on RMCs. I'd imagine some people may select those.

Probably a zero G roll for that little bit of floatiness, although I also love a good old fashioned vertical loop.

Can't beat a zero-g for that floaty feeling but I vote Inclined Dive Loop. J'aime the dive loop on Dragon Khan - I always roar with excitement. So you can only imagine how much I enjoyed the inclined dive loop on GateKeeper and Hydra. Also calling it an IDR gives it one of those specialist terms that only goons understand.

I really need people to vote in this topic for a project I'm working on. No need to post if you CBA but a vote would earn you my eternal gratitude.

Out of those, it's a Zero-G roll.

But really it's the fab one and a half roll thing on Starry Sky Ripper that's the best <3

I accidentally voted for dive drop instead of dive loop. Can I still have your eternal gratitude? :(

I've changed the poll settings so you delete your vote and click on the correct one. Because of your misvote, I'm afraid you are not eligible for my eternal gratitude. However, lifetime gratitude, either mine or yours depending on whoever snuffs it first, is avliable to you.

Does a zero G stall count? If so, that.

If not, zero G rolls and dive loops are my favorite for sure. Cobra rolls would be third but that depends on the coaster because some of them are really good but some are too snappy.

I voted pretzel loop, but I've only been on 2 flying coasters (even then, they were both SUF clones), so I feel like I can't say that because I haven't experienced it enough, so I'd say dive loop. Zero g rolls are pretty fab as well. Cobra Rolls are my favorite as far as how cool they look.

I voted dive loop! Hard to choose though, Immelmann's, Norwegian (Only ridden one), and Zero-G Rolls all near the top of the list too.

My favourite ever inversions would be:

3) Black Mamba zero-g roll: incredibly floaty feeling throughout the entire inversion!
2) Twisted Colossos zero-g stall: flying through the air upside down is a quite spectacular feeling, no?
1) Blue Fire heartline roll: the most amazing thing ever!!

The thing is though; most of these are exeptions from the more common execution of said elements. E.g. most of B&M zero-g's are not floaty at all, but rather snappy (and not my cup of tea). Are we looking at the favourite single inversion here, or the inversion most commonly executed well Ian? If it's the latter I would've voted for B&M flat spins. Plenty forcefull inversions, that always take you by surprice due to the inverted seating! Only problem is that they're not an option in the poll
