I can see it from the mother's side... a bit. Surely common sense would've kicked in, at least a little bit?!

I wonder how she feels now, being laughed at by ThE EnTiRe ReSt Of ThE WoRlD? Plus, her kid must HATE her. I really hope she ends up with the bill for the emergency services, that would make my day.
