We might as well have a topic on this seeing as this is doing the rounds on various news sites. Looks like a stall. Happened on Saturday (26th).

Guests cherrypicked to safety, an "investigation" by the park to follow with the ride staying closed for now.

It's a non event really.

Just like the Wipeout breakdown that's doing the rounds.

Yes. Maybe we should have a thread for low key incidents-something like the new rides for small parks thread?

Was pretty surprised to see this hit BBC headlines. Probably the biggest publicity M&D's has ever received, and it's over a ride stall. No injuries. No chaos. Complete non-story in my opinion. Feel like most media outlets are sniffing out any possibility of a story relating to a rollercoaster or ride after the whole Smiler accident exploded last year. Playing on the fear factor as usual.

Considering the damage this thing causes people during normal operation, this incident is something of a non-event!

This is the most most exciting thing that's happened at M&Ds since the last time it stoppepd halfway round.

Speaking of M&D's, apprently they've removed the Space Coaster (crappy little Pinfari) and they're replacing it with their Fabbri Mad Mouse spinning coaster (usually on the travelling circuit).
