I see I'm wrong about the academy. Sorry about that. All the same, keep using that training ground in the SO postcode area!
Yes, Pierre is right, less teams means less penalty points.
Dave, I find it hard to believe that when Portsmouth are doing so ****, why are home games only half full? If the club needed the cash, why weren't "the greatest fans in the world" going to every game? Only just half-filling a cow-shed of a stadium is not going to bring in the cash.
Even when Saints were doing terribly (they still are terrible, but ok for their league), the best football stadium in Hampshire was still pulling in 18K (over half) for most matches.
Kitsune - Yes it is good to see a Premiership team go into administration. Not only could it possibly be a wake up call to the Premier League and the teams, but it shows up the teams who try to punch too high above their weight.
Never mind, Dave. Rupert Lowe could be a contender to buy Portsmouth. Have him as your chairman. You'll get a nice stadium out of it, if nothing else.
I wish I enjoyed the game of football more than the politics of it all.
