Poor Pirate Adventure, I'll just remember last year's Live where it decided to absolutely soak me instead of Ian (from Coasterforce)...
It's in a right state, and it might make much more sense for them to revamp it to something competely new (if they keep the ride in place) or just scrap it for a new dark ride...
Apparently Drayton has reduced the price of Adult & Toddler tickets from £25 to £18 until 20th July. Now these are only valid Monday to Friday so it looks like they're trying to boost guest figures in the week by doing this. Doesn't really compensate a lot for the price hike of all the other tickets though.
Thinking of going Friday daytime before a concert in Brummingham. I can't find a 2 for 1 voucher anywhere on the internet. Does anyone know of any? I'm guessing you can't buy adults tickets for £18 on the gate without a toddler with you
Why are they taking out pirate's for god sake? It's a great little ride. Alright, it's not Pirates of the Caribbean, but it was still one of the country's only decent dark rides!
It'll all be down to the weather. People just don't want to leave there house at the moment, so the park will be suffering and need to get people in. Cutting prices is a way to do that. Do Drayton normally do 2-4-1 vouchers? If so, then this is no cheaper.
That "rainy day guarantee" should get a few people through the gates as well, though most of the poor bastards won't have read the terms and conditions and realised what a non-offer it actually is.
