What's new

Do you make any noise?

'Wooooooo'

That's pretty much what I do unless it's a coaster that is intense enough for me to scream, lol!

On coasters I usually don't yell or say anything but on flat rides and other types of rides I usually just yell random things or obscenities.

I mostly swear and make the odd "Whoaaaaah" sound effect, but I don't go down the excessive route of doing it just to entertain!

Probably just "Wooooooo" most of the time.

If its a new ride, or something that scares me, I do tend to scream.

Similarly to sex, if I'm silent that means I'm just blissfully enjoying myself. Shambhala <3

I tend to "whoo" and laugh on rides. I don't know, it just somehow adds to the experience. Sitting in complete silence is awkward.

I totally agree with this. Apart from rides which totally blow me away; I remember going pretty crazy the first time I rode Shambhala.

That's what I say to Madame_Furie, she just says it's rohypnol so that she can at least not have to deal with the memory of the experience, but now I know the truth ;)

I'm the same as most of the rest of you.. lots of "whoo"-ing and laughing. Maybe an "aw yeah!" after a particularly forceful element or nice pop of airtime. Very rarely do I go silent, and even then it's usually on kiddie rides, with the occasional patronizing "whee" thrown in for fun.

Pretty much quiet.
Just quiet enjoyment.
Will laugh and/or make exclamations. "Yeah!" "OH!" "whoo!"

I only scream when its natural, can't control it, which has been rare. Usually when it catches me by surprise like El Toro and Skyrush.

Laugh like a giddy little school brat throughout the ride.

May shout something random and non-sense (like a movie quote) on the drop/launch.

When going over an airtime hill I used to shout to the person next to me "I love the smell of freefall in the morning!"
Not entirely accurate, but still fun. :--D

I believe i'm pretty quiet while riding. In fact, i think I've never made a sound in a coaster (apart from one or two comments that I may have made during pauses like MCBR).

As to the "no hands" thing: when I was younger I used to think that it was childish too. However, nowadays, I do it all the time. I don't really know why, it´s kind of automatic, not to show off that's for sure. For instance, there was one moment when I was riding furius baco in which I decided to hold the restrains so that, by the end of the ride, they wouldn't be crushing my legs as it usually happens (it happened to me while riding kingda ka too). Despite this, right after the launch, I just had some sort of impulse and raised my hands as inevitable. It was a bit strange but I really wanted to have my hands in the air for my own pleasure. So, it's not necessarily to show off.
