Disney Hollywood Studios adding more Frozen attractions

Re: Disney Hollywood Studios vomiting more Frozen, crowds fl

Is this really a surprise?

Popular IP that gathers character queues of ridiculous length gets pushed forward as a central theme for one of Disney's holiday events... HOLD THE FRONT PAGE!

Am glad it's this though and not marvel or avatar.

Kids and families will love it, gets people in the park.

They needed something to get people there due to most people going for the Harry potter stuff.

I don't understand why everyone's being negative within these comments.
No one is making you go to the park and forcing you to sing along so get a grip and get over it.
Disney are utilizing great a business opportunity in terms of fighting the HP expansion popularity, and making more money off a a film that is incredibly popular right now, why the hell wouldn't they jump at this chance.
Just cause you don't like the film, no need to be all gross about it, like it's a really bad idea.
Just don't visit the park and you can all save your retinas from the HORROR ;).

^^With AJ 100% on this.

This makes so much sense for the Resort as a whole, it will (possibly) also help ease the queues over in Magic Kingdom for the meet and greet. The firework based events at the Studio park have also been really popular with fans so I'm sure this will be no different.

I think it sounds like a fun event apart from the obviousness that it's going to bring gross sized crowds to the park.

Disney Hollywood Studios vomiting more Frozen, crowds flock

The meet and greet is now meant to be a lot better as they have them on all day due to casting more people. Rather than 4 hour queues it's about 60 to 90 mins.

The fire works to the songs from Frozen will be great.

Sometimes I do not understand why people go to Disney if they don't like the films or characters. Disney is so much more than just rides.

I totally agree with AJ...

I love it when people complain about Disney parks as though they have the right to complain about his the parks are being run and managed and the new additions; this coming from people who go probably once every 4 or so years. It's ridiculous

Even though I do agree with AJ, I still don't get what the hype is about. It was a well animated movie but I did fail to see the significance of it. But good for them. Hope it brings them success.

Tbh I just find it ridicules that people go to a Disney Park and moan that there are Disney shows and attractions lol.

And yes I totally agree with AJ.

Frozen is and was huge, people are still buying the stuff and singing the songs. Loads of kids were dressed up as the princesses when we were in Paris. Disney would be mad not to make and event out of it and they are :)

Literally seeing frozen the other day and I think it is a good IP I still sing it and think its a brilliant idea.

Well the frozen stuff started today.

There were huge queues to get in the park and it hit capacity.

The trading place had 3 hour queues at times today as well.

Huge success. So much for people saying it would not attract people etc.

The funny thing is this had bigger queues than the new Harry Potter stuff.

Of course it did, Diagon Alley and the Gringotts ride arent officially open yet (only a few more days though).

They have had huge queues just for soft openings though but the crowds yesterday were meant to be light with the train not going above 10 mins.

I did get dates muddled up though as when I posted last night it was the 6th and it's all meant to open on the 6th but time difference lol :)

Will be interesting to see how the frozen stuff does today and over the weeks.
