I read it because I've been following the topic. If the topic interests me, I'll read everything in it. I'd neither make special effort to read it, nor skip it, based on who it was written by or the length of it.

Okay, I'll agree, there is a running pattern there... Haroun was unintentional, and it's still part of the pattern.

WHATEVER...At least I don't think hearing is a better sense than sight, at least my eyes aren't squiffy and at least I can spell my own name.

I only read it in this topic as I was intrigued as to what would compel someone to write so much in one post.

It usually depends, for instance if it was a trip report and it was that long I'd probably read it but if it was about someone's love of coffee I would probably skip it.

I normally read all UC's posts because his well thought and and articulated (and sometimes a bit nasty) remarks are amazing, but alas this one was too long for me, sorry UC!

He is normally right and I must say I've had the odd bash from UC but I still don't care, he's a great guy and he doesn't mean to offend people in his posts. He just tries to make sure idiotic statements or opinions are eradicated and prove when people are wrong.

I'm surprised UC himself hasn't posted in here.

I like UC and his posts, they used to really piss me off, but now I "enjoy" reading them. I've got used to his mannerisms??, so its allll cookies and cream now
