So, if you though 3 roller coasters at sea was enough, then think again!

Carnival Cruise Line recently announced the addition of 2 new Excellence-Class Cruise Ships, set for delivery in 2027 and 2028! Following on from the 3 already built ships: Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration and Carnival Jubilee, the Carnival fleet is set to add 2 new sisters, yet unnamed to its fleet!

Maurer will be contracted to manufacturer 2 more roller coasters for Carnival, most likely to be clones of the existing Bolt: Ultimate Sea Coaster layout, onboard the aforementioned ships already in the fleet. However, as they are still a few years off, changes and enhancements may be made to the ride system and layout, depending on what Carnival want!

🤢 Really not wanting to do another Carnival sailing just to get more fake credits..... but the completeness in me says well, maayyybe....
although one ride on MG Bolt was more than enough.

With no guarantee it'll be open for your cruise. Technical down time can happen to any coaster as we know. It's rubbish but just the way it is sometimes but if it were to happen to a cred collector here that's maddening. I'd be up for the uniqueness if they let anyone to ride while docked but an actual cruise isn't for me in the first place.

Carnival Cruise Line orders 3 (maybe 4) new Mega-Cruise ships... and you know what that means...

Carnival Cruise Line recently ordered 3 more cruise ships for delivery in 2029, 2031 & 2033, with the option of a 4th cruise ship for delivery in 2035. Being built at the Italian Shipyard, Fincantieri, these new Carnival ships will become some of the largest at sea, comparing to Royal Caribbean's Oasis-Class ships!

From my sources, a new design of Maurer Spike coaster will makes its way onboard these new ships, differentiating them from the Bolt: Ultimate Sea Coaster clones which will soon reach 5 iterations by 2028... the new versions for the mega ships could see new elements that Maurer have on offer, which will be interesting to sea (no pun intended...)...

Oh and yeah.... remember this puppy?

Well, after the bankruptcy of Dream Cruises and thus the stall of the Global Dream project, Disney bought the ship in November 2022, in a bid to redesign and relaunch the ship as their own... now named the Disney Adventure!

And yes, "Space Cruiser" will return onboard, however newly themed and redeveloped to meet Disney's standards!

That looks so tacky.

Also, HOW are Maurer Selling so many of these? This will be the 7th one sold (one of which being the dueling desmo race) as far as I am aware. Skyline could do with head-hunting some of Maurers marketing team.
This ride has actually been set up for the best part of 4 years, about an hour away from the shipyard where the Disney Adventure (former Global Dream) is being built. They seem to be the perfect blend of thrills and family-friendliness on a coaster, especially considering weight and size constraints that come with building a coaster on a cruise ship!
