Craziest Things You've Done at Parks

Have you ever done anything crazy/funny/stupid/all of the above at a theme park? Screamed like a little girl on a Wacky Worm? Scream something strange on a coaster? Bust out doing Gangnam Style in a ride queue? Discuss!

Some of mine:
*Shouted the element names out as we passed through them on Mystery Mine (I do this a lot, but not this loudly.)
*Busted out doing a long, complicated handshake in the middle of Kings Island with a friend of mine.
*Made a creepy face at the queue as a Maverick train pulled back into the station with me on it.
*Took my vomiting friend to Cedar Point where he ended up "cropdusting" on the Gemini catwalks during the ride.
*Persistantly asked the Magnum ride operator why it was called Molly Orange.
*Proved to a Wild Eagle ride op that I knew more about the ride than he did (partially my dad's fault)
*Hooked arms with my cousin and skipped through Cedar Point
*Tried to talk my way onto Jr. Gemini for the credit
*After a disa-Cedar Point-ing trip to Cedar Point this past Sunday, I explained to the guest relations lady that I was going to school to design roller coasters to see if I could get an employee to spit out the fact that Millennium had valleyed.
*At Dollywood, there's a land squirter on River battled positioned in a spot where it could hit the boats while they couldn't hit you. I spent a good fifteen minutes standing close to the gun and running up once the boat's range had passed. Had an old lady scream "YOU TURKEY!!!!!" while I was absolutely drenching her.
*Danced to zydeco music playing at the Bubba Gump at Kings Island
*Most of the rides were down at the CF live at Cedar Point due to wind. After I got off of Witch's Wheel, I stepped out of the car and yelled "Bring it on, Lake Effect!"

It makes me a bit of a goon, I know, but has anybody else done anything crazy or had too much fun at a theme park?

I successfully managed to do this, albeit I also had to persuade a random woman to let me ride with her child (after hearing Brad successfully obtained the cred using the same method). Totally worth it.

I also attempted to do this at Darien Lake in order to get on the kiddie/family coaster there (which had stupidly low height restrictions on for its ride type) as my 100th credit. I also ended up talking to park relations to try and speak to park management to allow me a one-off ride using the argument that I'd traveled X amount of miles from the UK and it was special to me. It didn't work. They seemed to think I was not well in the mind. Oh well.

I've read aloud To Kill a Mockingbird in a 3 and a half hour long Saw queue once upon request.

Other than that, nothing comes to mind. I'm quite sensible at parks so to not give enthusiasts a bad name or to just generally not be as annoying as a lot of the general public are at times.

Talking (or lack there of) my way onto Taxi Jam with a whole bunch of CF's. Still can't believe the ride Op bought it.

I've also upon request announced every element right before it was about to occur on Space Mountain at WDW

Not too much else I can think of at the moment.

Why do the American parks tend to have these maximum height restriction on smaller rides?
What is the worst that could happen?

^ Often it is due to the literal case that the rider's head would be completely above the headrest, which can cause whiplash/injury while riding. That is the case with TTD and MF's height restrictions.

Believe it or not, each policy actually does have a valid reason behind it. ;)

Gooniest thing I've done? Purposely delay my riding of Diamondback on Kings Island opening day 2009 so I could claim that noone else has waited longer to ride than I had. (2.5 hours)

Ummm....

Shouted out random action movie lines during the first drop of any given coaster.

Shout Hi at random park goers while passing by them to see if they would react. I got 1 Hi in return to the several I belted out.

Random Chicken Dance

Now...gooniest thing ive done while at a park? Opened up the eyes of a couole die hard SFMM fanatics that their park has **** operations as well as teaching them some non descript facts about roller coasters and who their respective manufacturer was.

Oh! Also yelled at Consuella (Family Guy Maid) who apparently works at SFMM on Viper.

Oh! Did that on Friday during OSU Day in the middle of the rain.

"Get back to the chopper!"

Gooniest Thing I Did: Yesterday at DWood I yelled most of the elements on Mystery Mine. "REVERSE BANKING!", "VERTICAL LIFT!" "Drop!", "AIRTIME!", "TWISTY", "FIYA", BARREL ROLL WOO DIVE LOOP YEAH HANG TIME"!

Craziest thing I did? Screaming like a girl on the lift hill of Wild Eagle to annoy people.

Really?

The Big One doesn't have head rests..
Hmm, I guess theres more than one reason for maximum height.

It is still a bit of overreacting, at least in my opinion. Same rides have different max height restrictions in different parks, also the parents can ride these rides...

The Big One is now in the US? Never knew.

It is pretty much spot on as Hyde said, especially considering how trigger happy we are to sue anyone for anything nowadays. Plus the typical rider comfort and whatnots.

During one visit at Parque Warner in 2007 I did:

3.5 hours ERT on Batman without leaving my seat
3 hours ERT on Superman without leaving my seat
and 1.5 hours on Stunt Fall without leaving my seat

and in 2005 I was allowed to play ride operator for the Invertigo ride at Sommerland Syd for 2 hours in Denmark as well as climb the lift hill without supervision - they literally just let me do my thing there lol

No, don't be stupid..

I was simply stating that The Big One operates without headrests, which kind of goes against what Hyde said. So, I questioned that as actual reasonings.

I yelled on Millennium Force, "It's a f**king dinosaur!" when we went by Dinosaurs Alive. I'm not that crazy :p

Was it a real ERT with somekind of a group, or was that just due to the fact that the park was empty?

Other than swearing and yelling the most random stuff on rides.
*I've ruined revenge of the mummy for the girl and her boyfriend next to me by saying things like "I hope beetles don't come out of the walls" and "I hope we don't get launched while we are on the lifthill" and other stuff.
*Flirted with girls on Stinger.
*Finding the cameras to take funny On Ride pics.
*Got way into Lightning Racer with my cousin and some kid in an orange shirt who we kept seeing throughout the day and calling him orange boy.
*Getting weird looks at for going on smaller creds alone like Sea Serpent, Circus Coaster, Great Chase, and Catwomans Whip.

I'm sure more random stuff but I can't remember right now. I'm sure a bunch of stuff will go down this year but I'll have a 5 year old with me so I don't have to talk my way on Jr. Gemini, Lil Phantom, Kozmos Kurves, RF3, and Great Pumpkin Coaster lol.

He was stating reasons why American coasters have such odd height restrictions, and since The Big One is an UK coaster, it is irrelevant to the argument at hand.

So, unless Big One has magically drifted off the UK and has made it onto US soil, it holds no matter to the argument.

And before you bring up the second part that was given after bringing up Big One, rides in the US have surprising moments in which they are really close to a tunnel or something similar of that nature (which is common **** sense).

I find it fun to go on small coasters like big apples and wacky worms with a few friends and act like its genuinely the most fun we've ever had. Scream our heads off, laugh hysterically, hands in the air all the way round etc. Tends to put a smile on the faces of ride ops and other guests!
