Complete overhaul for Turbo at Brighton Pier

It won't need a week of testing. It's not a new install and is basically a traveling coaster anyway. They'll just run the trains through a few times and be done with it.

Popped down there yesterday (and today) for a quick look. All the supports and most of the track are now up. They could probably just run it as it is I didn't get a photo, but the old trains are in the ride graveyard at the back of the Reverchon. The car nearest the front was propped up and had no wheels on it. Whether they're just refurbing these, or will replace them remains to be seen.

Wow, Turbo is looking very smart in it's new yellow n blue colours, wonder if it has some LED lights around the loop for the evenings.

Hayling Island's version could do with the same treatment but different colours.

The trains are the ones I saw the other day. Looks like they're the same, but may possibly have been repainted. They look nice and clean anyway.

I didn't see it running because, despite the repaint, they still have their ridiculous operating policies. Today they were after 8 people to run it. There were 2 rather bored looking people waiting. I wasn't going to wait around, I had more important things to be getting on with...

Nice to see bright, vibrant colours instead of the generic merlin grey in the UK for a change. Not that pretty, but its fresh and looks clean which is always great!

Hahaha, sorry! Although, I do have one more goony detail I haven't shared yet. I was waiting at the traffic lights at the bottom of the road to go to work one day last week, and one of the empty lorries drove past
