Coasters that you didn't expect to fall in love with

Goliath at La Ronde

I didn't expect much from this coaster but caught me by surprise. The airtime is phenomenal and the pacing is excellent. But the only downside was the length.

Insanity.

I'm assuming that is what you suffer from as you like the Blackpool Wild Mouse? ;)

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Wasn't really expecting all that much, it was genuinely really amazing, for what it is anyway, love it.

Furious Baco - I'd heard so much hate and I adore it

White Lightning - I knew it'd be good, I didn't know it'd be THAT good. Amazing.

I feel like I end up returning to this coaster for a lot of these types of questions, but I really didn't expect to like Batman so much. Going in, I expected a solid invert with good intensity (which seems to be the general consensus), but I anticipated it being far out shadowed by El Toro and Nitro. I was, of course, proven wrong, and Batman instantly became one of my favorites.

Wilde Maus XXL, was expecting a pretty crap ride on it, turned out to be amazing and full of airtime and headchoppers which I didn't expect.
Ice mountain coaster, was expecting a standard wild mouse and got on a spinning wild mouse with a few pieces of ejector airtime and a plus the restraints didn't get checked.

Whizzer. Almost fell asleep on it my first time, but rerode it this year and loved it.

Also Twister @ Grona Lund. Played it down before we got there but it's my 2nd favourite coaster in Sweden, so fun and re ridable.
