Coaster Count

Others are so stringent they don't count clones (Phil, I think?) - as in, you'll only find one SLC on his count, one Boomerang, etc., because he considers it "you've ridden one, you've ridden them all."

That's me for one of these reasons:
- it's the only sensible way to do it.
- it stops all arguments, dead. If there's a chance it may not be, it isn't. Simple.
- no requirement to ride every Big Apple you see.
- it stops you from using your coaster count as an e-penis (mine is small, but perfectly formed).
- contrariness.

How many and which of those are the real reasons, I'll let you decide, but I'll argue a case for all of them ;)

I like my sensible sized e-penis with it's majestic beauty. ;)

Of course, let's not discuss all that again Phil, because I'll win again and you'll look all silly with your 'logic' and all that.. etc etc.

Yep, certainly. Those Wacky Worms with a giant apple are certainly a very different experience to those without ;)

I am considering starting to count hump back bridges though, but not hump backed whales...

You forget the women you've humped as well.. and remember.. if you've driven two different cars of the same make, model, and year with no physical differences.. you've still only driven one car. ;)

And the counter to that is if you've driven 500 of those same cars, would you say that you're an experienced driver? If all those cars were some kind of cold war Soviet steel box, would you say that your opinion on the latest Mustang as a "piece of ****" is justified?

It's not so much what you've ridden, but how it's used...

That's the thing about a COUNT.. it isn't quality.. its quantity. It's counting the number of pencils in your pocket not if one has a sweet eraser or if the another one has the nifty holder at the end for grip. Saying one pencil is better than the other isn't relevant because you are JUST counting quantity. ;)

And, at the end of the day, it really is just what you've ridden.

Yes, but that's not how it's used. I personally keep track of every coaster I've been on. However, I don't use it a sledge hammer of opinion. I did explain my reasons on the last page Marcus ;)
