Cheetah Hunt- Intamin for Busch Gardens Tampa

In the case of Maverick, tests were conducted with slower launches, to see what the absolute slowest launch could be in order for the train to complete a circuit. It also was in part to test wear and tear of the coaster and trains, starting slow first. As many of you many remember, the train did valley... twice.

Ain't related to you, 'bro'.

Pretty sure there wasn't any preaching, either.

I think there is some preaching.

Anyway -

It doesn't seem too much faster. I doubt the first half will get any faster because of the degree of banking. Any faster and that element would feel like a wild mouse coaster. Its probably one of these things that'll feel better than it looks.

You make absolutely no sense and need to get over that photo, its becoming porn for you I swear.

Go:Jump.

Anyway-

This is looking fab. I'm looking forward too much to the train front graphics <3

The pair of you, please give it a rest. If you want to tear strips off each other that is fine, but do it in PMs.

Cheers boys :)

It looks slower now that it did without riders...

To be honest, I think this might be a pretty good family ride. It's the bridge between the tame coasters like Cheetah Chase (or whatever they've called the Wild Mouse now) and the big intense rides like Kumba and Montu. As much as I don't think this is going to be the world's best thrill ride, I think it might be quite good.

It certainly doesn't look as fast as I thought it would be, but of course, it is just a video. Either way, I'll probably never ride it, so my opinion is pretty invalid. Haha.

Urgh. So disappointing.
Especially when they made it look like it was going to go load faster.

Now compare that to the testing video above. :(

The figure 8 is essentially a twisty-turny top hat isn't it? It looks like it could go a little faster than that, but like most top-hats, it's taken slowly.

So yeah, it looks poor, but that's the way I see it...

Well that looks dissapointing. It was certainly made out to look a lot faster initially.

Maybe it will ride a lot better than it looks? Lets hope, eh.

It's still looks so slow and disappointing. However maybe it feels faster when you are riding it yourself, you never know.

More than half empty trains have less inertia then a full one, so once they get it loaded properly then it will be a little faster near the end...

Oh, Loefet, stop...
