As of tomorrow, we'll be introducing a new 3D part of the site. It's in anticipation of the new site (we're going to ease you in slowly (ooer missus).

So you might see some changes over the next while, but this will be the biggest and most obvious change.

Obviously, if you don't have a 3D monitor/TV, it's not going to be easy.

With that in mind, we'll be hosting two sites, one for "True 3D" and one for Anaglyph 3D. The first Anaglyph images will be here tomorrow, or maybe early Sunday (I'm at Alton tomorrow so I may not get the chance.

In the mean time, in case you haven't got any old red/blue(cyan) glasses kicking around, here's a link to help make your own:

The problem with being busy and making April the month of making changes is that nobody bloody believes you :(

Because the 31st is our company month end and I always have to work long and late here to complete it, so I don't have time to do things.

Mothering Sunday weekend I'm always busy too, so it's difficult to plan for "large scale" projects (well this year). Plus, I tend not to do CF work on weekends.

Friday's are fab, because most people are off and I get a lot more free time to work on stuff.

It's all in the background working away, you'll see.
 
^We had to do the swtich(es) today as we needed to upgrade the server. As we pay for the server on a monthly basis, we have to wait to the start of the month to make the big changes that we want.

We've been working solidly for the last month trying to get all the new features integrated into the new (and old) site, so now was the first month we could actually have them available to 'you'.

Hope that clears up some of the confusion as we release all of these updates.
 
It's not that important on the timing front Hixee, the hosters give us a few days lea way anyway.
 
^Well I stand corrected. I was just kinda assuming that was the case. Still, they only give us a narrow window. :)

Because I have it! Plus, you can make your own glasses, see the above link.

Man, that's messed up if we have to look at a non 3-D blurry screen. This better be an april fools joke, lol.
 
It'll feel like the forum posts are in my living room!

What would make this joke better is if the site really were in 3-D for Monday only.
 
Well, here we are...

I said that I'd start tonight with the first part of this - unbelievers!

We now have a collection of 3D images for Alton Towers :)

You will need Red/Cyan 3D glasses (you can follow the link in the fist post about making them yourself), or get them free off the Internet.

Alternatively, I've linked to the 3D only images (.MPO) files that can be viewed on the 3DS, PS3 (with 3D TV and all 3D monitors. So if you're lucky enough to have 3D technology, you can see the images in their original dimensions and quality :)

They're not great yet. The camera technology is still new, and the change to red/cyan kills the images to a degree. They DO work though!
