The buyer of the old Togo Stand-up that shut its operations in September has been revealed. Italian park Cavallino Matto (its name literally translates to Crazy Horse) has just posted this photo onto their fb page.

Italy is apparently willing to buy and erect every used major ride from NA. I'm not even mad. :D

This park has made a real effort recently to get noticed, it looks like an ok little place.

It's a very good move considering there's only one current stand up in Europe, one which very few mainland Europeans would have ridden.

I'm really glad this Togo is moving home and not being thrown in the tip. Even happier that it's moving to Europe, we totally need more Togos <3

OMG </3 Lucky Italians, but I'm sad I'll probably never see it again! Like Gavin said though, it is a good move for them.

The ride's new name has been announced as Freestyle on the park's Facebook page.

Along with the name announcement they've also posted a photo of the train, which seems it will also get some love during the relocation.

I wonder when the ride is going to open, though. We are already in March and there has been no information of construction being underway, nor has there been any provisional completion date set...

Looking good, but I wish they would go ahead and get the damn thing built before the CF Live - not that I'm going, but it would be a bummer if it wasn't running for those that are.

*Moved and renamed topic in hope of construction starting soon.

Oh Skyrider, how I won't miss the abuse I went through riding you for so many years. :p Glad to see it wasn't scrapped though! Looking sleek with that nice new paintjob!

The construction has already started and they have a good pace in putting the ride together.

They've tarted it up quite nicely. Hope its open for the live in June, really looking forward to riding it again.

That is one good looking shade of yellow! Much better than before, let's hope they fixed the rattle too...

My Italian is pretty crappy, but what they are saying is that the coaster opens on 1st of July. And some other 'jolly' stuff...
