A new park for Brazil has been announced for 2027, The park called Cacau Park will be situated near Sao Paulo.

The park is being built by Cacau Show which already owns at least one small indoor park in Brazil. And recently bought up the famous Brazilian Playcenter brand.

The new park will feature 4 roller coasters, 3 from Vekoma and 1 from SBF.

Based on my visit to Hopi Hari (2h queues off-peak for mediocre rides) I think there is huge demand for a decent park in that region, HH will have to significantly up their game to compete!

Saw a comment that one of Vekoma’s vice presidents was present at the event.

Typically when I start believing that a park project is legit is when manufacturers publicly attach themselves to said project. It means that yes contracts are signed and yes they have enough confidence in the developer to put their name on it.

That’s of course not overlooking Cacau Show, which is already a huge established presence in Brazil. Their announcement didn’t come out of nowhere, they’ve been very transparent about a new theme park for the last year. They’re building in a good market, they have a grounded plan and timeline, country is going through a bit of a rides boom right now, I’d say on a scale of London Resort to Qiddiya we’re looking at 100% happening.

😀Yeah, I got super excited about this announcement, especially since I live here in Brazil. We really needed a park this big around here. Last week, they did a live stream to announce it, shared all the details and stuff. And yep, the Vekoma rep, who’s actually Brazilian, was there too and even got on stage to talk about the partnership and what it was like working together on the project.
