Breaking the goon barrier

When I gave two full days during the exam period to hunt for Shanghai Disneyland pics, hoping I'd find a photograph of something I hadn't seen before
The only one that feels like a milestone for me is to do all the Disney Parks (with all the major unique attractions).

Some of my ways to boost your goon factor:

Done:
- Planning holidays around theme parks
- Used coast2coaster and / or RCDB to plan trips
- Opened at least one coaster counting account, or have your own spreadsheet/database
- Had an "is it a cred" debate
- bought a coaster t-shirt
- be unable to remember your last "non coaster" holiday
- when someone says "I'm going on holiday to ----" - look it up on rcdb to see what coasters they might be riding
- Had a ban from TPR
- been evacuated from a ride

Kinda done:
- Sliding scale for distance travelled for a +1
- bought something which wouldn't normally be park related, because it reminds you of a coaster or coasters in general
- had a rollback

Not done:
- Had an "is it an inversion" debate
- quit your job to ride coasters
- collected "full sets"
- permanently banned from TPR
-Borrowed a kid for a +1 (extra points if you lied about their age)
- been a Borrowed a kid for an enthusiasts +1 (extra points if they lied about your age)
- sneaked out of a meeting etc. to grab a +1

I think I became a proper goon when I did my first big coaster only trip - the Shuckin' Escapade CF-Live back in 2010. That took me from a coaster count of 68 (which had been built up over about 10 years of random family holidays with the odd park here and there) to a whopping 179.

It was also just before that trip that I put together the first draft of my coaster tracking spreadsheet - which must also help break to goon barrier. :p This spreadsheet has evolved over the years to now be a rather satisfying tracker (creds, parks, countries, record holders, top tens, milestones, trends over time, etc), with almost everything being automatically populating after I've input the new creds and parks. I do love a good spreadsheet...

As for the goon checklist, not really sure I've done too many. Although I've probably done more than I can remember now. The ones that stand out to me are:
- Fastest Coaster: Rode Forumla Rossa this year
- Tallest Coaster: Rode Kingda Ka in 2010
- Tallest Coaster (with a lift hill): Rode Fury 325 this year
- Oldest Coaster: Rode Leap The Dips in 2010
- Most Inversions: Rode Smiler in 2014

- Oldest Park: Visited Bakken in 2015

As for things I've yet to do? I dunno, I can't say I really target any of these things in particular, making it hard for me to think about things I would actually go out of my way to do.
