Bounce - Oakwood

Does anybody know/have any theories why The Bounce at Oakwood park in Wales has been retrofitted with seat belts (not belts attached to the OTSRs but across the lap like a car) ?

Strange for them to fitted after many years of operation.

How long has it had them? It's not a knee jerk to NTG is it?
 
Had them a while before NTG Furie. Just seems strange to add them after so many years of operation. Do any other Huss shot n drop towers have these lap belts if anybody knows?
 
There aren't many of them about are there? I quite like Bounce, but hate it not having a secondary restraint system. So I'll actually enjoy the ride a lot more now :)

As to why it's been done? Maybe Oakwood's insurance asked them to fit something? It could be that they've been inspected and recommended it. After the Hydro incident, I suspect their insurance is a little tighter than most?
